  1. What's a reputable place with good pricing for an all-wheel alignment? Everytime I make a turn it feels like the hubs are going to fall right off. I guess it could be tire balancing too, but it's horrible and I can't drive any longer like this.
  2. If you choose to go to DeVry, assuming you take an average of 15 credit hours each semester, you'll be out in less than 2 years. I like the classes I took, and most of the professors, but you have to be very motivated. I'm sure other colleges are like this as well, but if you didn't understand something, you didn't ask the professor for help. You used the Internet. I liked the professors. A number of them are very very knowledgable, but they aren't smart enough to help you understand something. They can just teach it. I take as many online classes as possible only because I hate wasting gas to go to school. Online classes are usually easier I think. Of course, I spend all my life sitting on a computer so learning on a computer is much easier for me. Regardless, good luck with your decision.
  3. Is there anything interesting going on tonight? It's been a few weekends since I've been out and I need to find something to do.
  4. Yeh, I knew you knew. I thought I smelled a different dirty vag in my apartment. Har har har.
  5. Probably not. I don't remember much about the night. I was a little nervous to remember what all happened now. Like I said, it was a 0 - 45mph race at most. My speedometer probably read well over 45 as I didn't have traction up until mid 3rd gear then I saw the lights and just went right to 5th. This is why I don't waste money on a track until I get some drag radials. I'd probably pull a 105 - 110mph in 16 seconds.
  6. On his U10 (I think that's what it's called), he said we were doing 80+ which was impossible as from one light to the next was about 1/8 mile. I know I didn't go over the speed limit. Also, it was also documented that we ran another motorist off the road, which is also false since there was no one around us. The only person that was around us was the motorist that eventually stopped behind us as we were pulled over at the next light. There was something else too that wasn't entirely true, but I forget what it was. I'm glad it's over.
  7. Yeh. Well, if it was worse I'd rather it not be know that it was me, of course I'm sure it was fairly obvious.
  8. Well, a lawyer was gotten. I went from a M1 Street Racing $380 fine, 30-day suspension, and 6 points to a M4 Wreckless Op. with $140 fine and 2 points. The $1000 spent now was well worth it.
  9. What turbo is on there now? The K04 is kind of small from what I see from the compressor map. Are you looking to upgrade from your current turbo or just get a new one? I'm guessing both...

    ASR Cruise In

The MegaSquirt is being gay. I won't be there. :-\
  11. I am about 20 years too late, but I finally got around to pulling video from my camera. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-m0OjZqMdA
  12. I must have got there too late or no one just showed up in general.
  13. And it's just how Randy and Brian explained it. Wow...
  14. I got off work really early tonight so I will be out as well.
  15. That's all in tuning your idle pulsewidths right there. You're injecting way too much "gas" and washing your "rings" away as you are "idling" in the bathroom.
  16. It doesn't include a wideband of yet, but you definately input a wideband signal from many different widebands. Depending on the code, like Mr Blunt 2gnt mentioned, can give you many different options. A guy that lives in my complex showed me the HP Tuners and AEM software they use to tune their cars, and even thought the MS is open-source and constantly developing, it has many features that some of the high tech $3000 systems can't compare to. Of course, it also lacks features that the other systems have. Funny how the MS is ~$250 for the "best" version to date.
  17. A big group of Saturn guys I know just got back from a weekend there. I wanted to go, but ehh. I'm too lazy to drive there.
  18. Germain Amphitheater Aug. 8th. - 12:00PM Sec. Lawn 1 - Row GA4 Name your price. It will be too late to ship them out so pick-up only.
  19. It's stock. If it goes it goes. I've got the forged one to put in some day.
  20. I'd think it'd be just the opposite. Base tunes are easy to do. You define your AFR table, get your car to idle, start datalogging and go driving around the block. Use MegaLogViewer to open your datalog and MSQ file and have it analyze it for you and it'll give you a good VE table based on the how you drove the car. Just keep doing that until you are out cruising and doing pulls. Using that analyzer workds really well if you have a long datalog of many different points, such as WOT pulls, cruising, partial throttle pulls, high RPM and low throttle, low RPM and high throttle, and whatever else you can do. I'd be using the dyno to fine tune it then as road conditions always change.
  21. Yes, I'm using the MS for fuel and spark. I have the AEM wideband so I know my AFR. At WOT of 5psi or above I'm at 12:1 and it goes down to 11.5:1. I don't have an EGT to monitor which is why I was wondering. I just noticed on my last engine where the stock ECU was controlling timing, my plugs had a good bit of aluminum speckales on them which is why one of the pistons was melted. I didn't have a way to monitor the timing being pulled by the stock ECU, but you could definately feel it. I'm guessing it pulled it back to 5* - 10* on anything above atmospheric pressure.
  22. I've been wondering this as of recently mainly because the more I advance my ignition, the better my plugs look. My theory would be that increasing the spark angle would lower readings of EGTs since the fuel is being burned more complete and transferring heat to the piston rather than the exhaust ports. For instance, my original spark advance on my car was 17* @ 9psi. I now have it up to 24* with a bit more noticable power and cleaner plugs. My guess is that at a lower ignition advance, since all of the fuel isn't burning completely, it's collecting in the manifold and generating heat that way where as a more advanced spark will transfer the heat to the piston instead of the exhaust port. I've only come up with this idea based on how some use anti-lag to spool large turbo. For example, if I set my timing to -5* across the board, I can get my turbo to spool at ~80% throttle @ 1800 - 2000 rpms and no engine load and make about 4psi, but all the raw fuel is really heating up the turbine. So, is the higher advance making the EGTs read lower since the heat is going right to the piston rather than the exhaust port since it's burned "more complete"?
  23. So technically, since the section violated was B rather than A, which says street racing occured, or C, which says license must be revolked, this said person might be in a little better shape than originally predicted?
