What time do you guys usually cruise? I don't get of work until 11:30PM or later since I work evening shift. Weekends are free though.

What time? I'm going to be up there, but UNDER_PSI was going to be up there around 10 I think. I figured I'd get there around the same time.

If it looks burnt I'd definately change the fluid. It sounds like it could be the torque converter or possibly a bad temperaturesensor. If the sensor is bad and is reading a low temperature, the torque converter probably won't lock up like it should. It's been about 3 years since I had an auto in my Saturn. I'm just going by personal experience.

Ryan, which QS&L is this? I've never been out with you guys yet. I finally got the Saturn running and tuned pretty stable. I just usually go driving around at night and end up finding nothing to do. I know of a QS&L in Westerville and Lockbourne. Are those the only 2? BTW, I live behind Wal-Mart on Stringtown Rd. Call me if you're going out for sure.

I'd have to leave the ran running 24/7 then. It's overheating before I even turn the car on. The heat from outside is getting absorbed into the case and causing something to screw up.

Actually maybe not now. I've been troubleshooting this MegaSquirt problem forever and I can't figure it out. If the MS gets hot it doesn't get a TACH signal. If I take a can of canned air and turn it upside down to frost the components inside the case to cool them down, it runs fine, but I don't want to have to rely on a can of air just to go meet up tonight.

I know about 1 person here, but I'd like to get to know a few more people. Does anyone have plans to do anything this evening?

Yeh, we got a call into work today saying the guy wasn't going to be able to make it in. It was pretty funny seeing how he was pretty new and his first call off was due to being caught speeding at 167mph.

Yeh, definately wouldn't pass smog tests. I've almost managed to get the SES light to go off though.

I remember you from TSN (I think). There's only a few guys making high numbers, but no one close to here. As for my car, I've yet to dyno it mainly because I keep loosing tach signal to the MegaSquirt after driving for a while (pretty sure the ICM is getting too hot) so I'm working on fixing that, but 13.589 @106 on 6psi so far. I really need to make a new manifold and get to 3" exhaust by the end of the summer.

I saw a 2nd gen SC the other day in Grove City the other day with a intercooler filing the whole bumper. Please tell me there is someone else out there dumb enough as I am to waste money on making these cars quick.

What if we believe we know more about Saturns than the techs themsevles - are we qualified?

I haven't called up the place yet since I just got the pistons ordered and I was wondering what a decent price is for the machine work so I know what's a rip off and what isn't. The thing is, the guy I am buying the pistons from has a block matched for them for $100 extra. Are machine costs going to be more than that?

I'm sure it's been asked before, but the search for "machine shop" for some reason turned up threads about "FUCK GEORGE BUSH"... Anyway, can someone give me a few good places and pricing if possible?
