Start walking it down rpm wise for the launch. Try 5500, 5000, etc. Ideal launch is just above where you'll bog down when you launch, but not so high you blow the tires off. But honestly, 1.8x isn't bad at all for a FWD street car. Do you still have to pedal the launch or does it hook pretty quick in 1st? I can't remember what you're tuned with, so it might be more of a pain to change the 2 step if you have to go back to the tuner for every change.

10psi isn't low at all for those slicks. Although, too much below 8psi and you'll need bead locks. Time to start dialing in the right RPM for launching.

Wait, you said boost by gear, so it should be S3 w/boost, and external solenoid. So what solenoid are you using?

Take that POS boost controller off the car and get a real EBC. If you can find the control unit with attached wires for an AVCR, I think I have the rest of the stuff to run that AVCR. My display/control unit only was stolen out of a previous vehicle, hence me still having the rest other than that unit.

Also, are you running soley off that 46mm gate? Or an EBC or MBC?

How old is your turbo? How many miles? Check that shaft play y0! In/out and up/down. It is hard for the fire ring to fail, as it's all a very simple design. To rule out software issues/bugs, load the same 10psi map that you were using with no problems. Go see what that does, if anything, and report back. Are you tuning it? Or someone else? Hondata S3?
