I went into Mobile Electronics two Wednesdays ago (the 6th) to get it checked out. Turns out the brain is fried. They were going to just pull mine out and put one of theirs in, but they didn't have any in stock. They said they were going to order one that day and it would be in on Monday (the 11th). I called in Monday and got hung up on after being on hold for 15 minutes. I called back the next morning (Tuesday) and was told that it still hadn't come in yet, it should come in tomorow (Wednesday) and I should call on Thursday. Well here it is Thursday, and it's the day off for the guy that I have been dealing with. After being put on hold for another 15 minutes and getting hung up on, I talked to a girl in shipping and receiving who said that it was probably going to take 3 weeks! I'm really starting to get fed up... graemlins/nonono.gif

They must have sent them out all together. 8-10 weeks after the promotion was over.

Supposedly the Blue Devil vette will be forcefully induced.

They probably have a grace period or some certain amount of time to get it fixed after it's reported before they have to start reimbursing people.

I used to have a 400watt Rockford Fosgate($110 new, ebay) amp and a 400rms watt sub($90 used with box). It was pretty much overkill for my Integra. I had to turn the bass way down to keep it from annoying the hell out of me. But I'm weird and don't really like loud music. It might be your cup of tea. That setup with some nice Pioneer 3-ways would be very sufficient. You'll also need no less than an 8g wiring kit($40 new, ebay).

When my car got broken into, the wires to my siren were cut. I tried to just splice the wires back together(red to red, black to black) but as soon as I connect the second wire the siren instantly and constantly sounds, like it would normally if the alarm were going off, except it's very, very quiet. I figured the siren was broken so I got a new one, but the new one is doing the exact same thing. I assumed this would be a pretty simple fix of just putting the wires back together, but now I don't know what the hell is going on. Is there something I'm missing? Any help/tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There's also "The Body Shop" behind MAG on Frantz road. That's where they send all of their cars. Pretty expensive if I remember correctly, but who cares, right?

Alot of the high HP Honda guys run BFG Drag Radials. They're awesome when it's dry out but not so good in the rain.

Spotted this car again on Saturday. I have pictures on my comp at home. The one I saw was different from the one above (different wheels, no wing). The driver was in his early twenties. I'll post pics if anyones interested.

A mechanic was removing a cylinder head from the motor of a Harley motorcycle when he spotted a well-known heart surgeon in his shop. The surgeon was there, waiting for the service manager to come and take a look at his bike. The mechanic shouted across the garage, "Hey, Doc, can I ask you a question?" The surgeon a bit surprised, walked over to the mechanic working on the motorcycle. The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked, "So Doc, look at this engine. So how come I get such a small salary and you get the really big bucks, when you and I are doing basically the same work?" The surgeon paused, smiled and leaned over, and whispered to the mechanic... That's a Lotus. MAG doesn't sell Nobles. They do however sell Elise's like hotcakes. BTW I drove that Lotus, detailed it, and put it in the showroom graemlins/nod.gif .
