  12. Posting for a good friend, this a good car that is well known in the area, it just needs a good home for someone (maybe some de-ricing ). I can vouch this car has not been driven in a long time, just every so often on visists to where it is being stored This car started at my daily driver, bone stock with 64,000 miles on it in 2001. Over the past 2+ years I have not put more than 8,000 miles on it so I have decided it is time to go. Im not hard pressed to sell it so do not low ball or whore my thread. I guarantee I left at least 5 things out. 1996 Honda Civic Ex 109,xxx miles on body 69,xxx miles on motor Oil changed every 3000 miles or less. Car made 295whp and 195 ft-lbs on Raceline's Mustang dyno in 2005 on 9psi. I cannot drive 1/4 mile. The car went consistenly 13.5 @ 110 with like 2.8 60 fts on stock tires with stock pressure This is on 9psi. Dumb stuff that just takes time and little to no money to make right. Already fast and with a tune and installed 3bar this can easily make a lot of power. I have used it recently as a daily driver for a week and it drives reliably. Burns some oil, but what boosted Honda doesnt? Maybe could use a retune, but still gets 300 highway miles to a tank. I just do not have the need or motivation to keep it. $7,500 OBO NO TRADES http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b211/xphiberoptikx/Car%20Photo%20Shoot%20September%206%202005/DSCF0067.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b211/xphiberoptikx/Car%20Photo%20Shoot%20September%206%202005/DSCF0062.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b211/xphiberoptikx/Car%20Photo%20Shoot%20September%206%202005/DSCF0063.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b211/xphiberoptikx/Car%20Photo%20Shoot%20September%206%202005/DSCF0049.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b211/xphiberoptikx/Car%20Photo%20Shoot%20September%206%202005/DSCF0050.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b211/xphiberoptikx/Car%20Photo%20Shoot%20September%206%202005/DSCF0041.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b211/xphiberoptikx/Car%20Photo%20Shoot%20September%206%202005/DSCF0042.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b211/xphiberoptikx/Car%20Photo%20Shoot%20September%206%202005/DSCF0028.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b211/xphiberoptikx/Car%20Photo%20Shoot%20September%206%202005/DSCF0029.jpg $7,500OBO NO TRADES

  16. You guys are both close the same thinking as me. That was the reason I had purchased the FD over the zo6 to beging with. However, once I owned the FD, and i wanted to drive it often on the street, i was constantly worried about reliability. And I knew to get to the pwr/weight ratio I WANTED for the track, the cost was a lot higher than to get that same pwr/weight ratio in the zo6. Also, with a large displacement n/a motor, you get the tq at the touch of the gas, even at low rpm, and when I come out of a turn on the track, that is VERY important and can make a large diff. in time. Furthermore, for me, at 6'4" I was HUGE inside of the rx7, with my helmet it on, i rubbed the headliner, even with the wheel as far back, and reclined as much as comfortable. The zo6 is much more fitting for my height, i have tons of room. Finally, generation gap, there is a large gain in amenities between 1994 technology, and 2003 technology. So with that all considered, I bought the zo6 instead of another FD. Dont get me wrong, i still love FDs and their track potential is at the top... however, its drawbacks are shown when I want to get some street driving amenities (size, reliability, comfort).
  17. lol, thanks... Ive thought it through to the extent of what bolt ons will be going on, and started looking at the tuning maps I will leverage right now... then for the 'future upgrads' I've already determined what heads/cam I am using, what to expect, etc.. I've also gone so far as to model the engine into Virtual 4-Stroke to get some efficiency estimates, lol
  18. Until I can get some better photos, here are the ones from the dealership... Got the car back, put a body kit on it, and decided on a black paint job with some z16 inspired stripes... http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/1948836492.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/1948836496.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/1948836500.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/1948836504.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/1948836512.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/1948836516.jpg
  19. I agree, they will be coming off in due time (vinyl)... My only concern is that paint fade will show up.
  20. that's the plan Ive raced enough I know I need to learn to take the car to ITS limit before modifying it. Too much too soon, means slower times. My plan is to just do the intake, exhaust and tune. Then drive it like that, till I feel comfortable on the track enough with it, then probably heads/cam. Only after enough time that I am limited then, will I consider upping the displacement... but thats far down the road. I need it to be near stock to be competitive in class.
