  1. Looks really good, other than the gas door cut out, that looks a little 'out of place'... Maybe it will stand out less when it's all one color...
  2. Are you trying to make me feel like a failure? Or just make me cry myself to sleep?
  3. I can't believe you're selling that car?!?!?!
  4. You have a matte yellow aventador?!?!? I hate you.
  5. I spent yesterday doing my best ForeverMaker impersonation, trying to get the swirl marks out of the paint (again), doing it proper like (instead of hiding it using the Black Box). One question I have, that I have always needed advise on.... Is there any tip/trick to getting the dried polish/wax out of the area around and in badges/emblems? The indentations on the ZO6 badges are particularly hard to get the stuff out of (in hindsight, I should have taped them off to avoid that) and the same with the 'CORVETTE' in the front licence plate cover.
  6. A lot of people said they would lose their bowl game last year too, because of the weak BE schedule... Those people had egg on their face...
  7. No shit! Best QB WR combo in college right now... WVU looks TOUGH on offense... If their defense figures out how to play football they may surprise the "old guard" In other news, helluva end to the UC VT game... As much shit as the Big East gets, they are putting a hurting on the ACC...
  8. I'll be your hucklebearer I dont think this guy is an 'idiot' or any form of dumb... But I would sure love to host a design review with him. :gabe:
  9. He keeps saying the people who say it "cant" be done are morons... that it takes GREAT engineering etc..... DOes he understand you can't engineer your way around physics?? PS, I lold HARD at "break-in turbos" hahahahahahahahah who the fuck does that?
  10. Other than that, I agree with the Darwinism of it all
  11. That's not the point... The public is more accepting of violence if it is fake... Beyond the moral implications and public opinion of airing a suicide live, there are probably legal implications, I guarantee the family of the dude can/will sue.
  12. Because that was real life, not some fake TV drama you retard... Get a clue
  13. I want to see your math and evidence, I do not believe your statistical calculations.
  14. Anyone here get exceptional deals on ppg paints? PM me if so....
  15. well, fuck you then, asshole. :fa:
  16. Being serious, I did have some pretty crazy neighbors when I was in college... I lived in the REAL ghetto... I shit you not the house across the street was a drug house, loaded with weapons, but the dudes were pretty cool to talk to actually, but I would hate to be on there bad side... but eventually the house got raided one night at like 2am... which was crazy. The neighbors to our left were more annoying... Their high school aged son would just walk in our house when we are having big parties, drinking beer/alcohol, which in and of itself wasnt 'that' big of an issue, it was moreso the mom coming over yelling at him and dragging him home when she would find out, lol. You can say you think, that I think, my life is 'perfect' and I live in a bubble... but i bet I have lived in much more sketchy parts of town, been in some pretty adrenaline pumping incidents myself, lol. Though I think the only time I ever have had the 'most' REAL fear for my life was playing basketball when several guns were pulled, but luckily hte only thing shot was a ball... it died at the scene.
  17. Seriously? Of all the things I have ever said... you took me srs here?
  18. I had black neighbors once.... it was scary.
  19. Right, and I understand that, and yes, I ask them the same questions... A GOOD friend of mine went and got his CCW, and I asked him nearly the same questions... end result is, he 9 itmes out of 10 leaves the gun at home in the pop-open safe next to his bed, carries it with him on the occasions he thinks it might be warranted. I guess maybe I have been lucky in my lifetime and have never been in a situation to say "man I wish I would have had a gun". But then you have the horrifc incidents like at VT, and colorado that make you think you need to carry all the time... I dunno. The topic goes well outside of this thread. BUt I pointed to Phil specifically because he puts himself at extra risk, since he does not, and cannot have, a CCW. He VERY easily could have found himself in jail yesterday, with a potential prison cell waiting. I am NOT saying Phil is an idiot, and shouldnt carry a gun... I just wanted to know his reasoning. He seems by all accounts to be reasonably responsible and capable of making smart decisions.
  20. No judgement, but sincerely curious: Why do you take the risk of carrying a gun as a felon, knowing you could see serious jail time (you are SERIOUSLY lucky you found a nice/polite cop, and I am sure it also goes to you being polite and respectful to him, had you not been, I surely wouldnt be talking to you right now) Do you live in a really bad neighborhood? (i never got that indication) Do you have a reason to fear for your life? (does someone in particular have a reason to hurt you?) Do you hang with/often around nefarious characters? (in which case maybe should question who you associate with) Do you put yourself in situations where you need to protect your life? (again, if htis is the case maybe you should question the things you do). I'm just purely curious here. Im not a felon and i dont feel the need to carry a gun, even at big car meets/getting in arguments/etc... I have never felt in such fear of my life that I would need a gun. I will say that protection at my home in case of home invasion/robbery is where I would have a gun (but thats a shotgun, not a hand gun). There's the argument for a CCW, and maybe you use a lot of those arguments, but the difference here is you do not legally comply, and you have a placed a HUGE burden/risk on yourself by having a weapon. And unless you have a SERIOUS need and REALISTIC fear for your life, I just dont know why you need a gun... Again, not being judgemental, honestly curious, and hoping that maybe you will have a second thought to your statement of "anyone who knows me, knows its always on me".
