I agree. There has been alot of people who speak as a matter of fact when they are really giving an opinion. Its pretty much just speculation on alot of our parts based on what we hear from the media.

So as to not get this thread anymore OT I will pm you asking why your bring up the fact that females belong on here. Are you assuming I dont think girls should be or that I think men are superior in any way to women. I merely brought up the fact that there are guys on here that seem to have no interest in cars other than owning one. Why on earth would you try to make this about you and womens rights. Should I have to preficit my posts because you think when I say "guys" it actually means "dana, eye of the beholder, robs girlfriend, receptionist at gearheadz"? Ok I am not going to pm.

Pm me explaining how agreeing with her would get her salty. And that thread had a fraction to do with Anthony starting this thread. I know he has been tired of alot of the nonsense on here recently.

Dude when I first started coming out I was shocked. I mean literally. I never would have been able to put face to name with people. Based on how people posted I was sure I was walking into a meeting of the rich, body building, super model dating, 7sec driving gods. Instead it was more like a star wars convention. And almost everyone I have met in person has been absolutely cool to talk.hang with. True some guys go over the top to point out who their friends with and rag on everyone else but most are cool as hell.

I am not as much about the car stuff as I used to be. But whos on here just because? I mean I built cars, raced cars, wrecked cars. Its obvious some guys are here only because they own a car. If thats where/what we have become than so be it but this needs addressed.

Not when you think of what the old cr was. It wasnt about "OG" members. It was like individuals sharing a common interest. Friends having a place to converse as life drifted people apart.

Cr really has deviated from being what most would consider a "car site" years ago. True the core belief is that we all love cars. But like myself, most havent had a car to race in years thats if they have ever raced. Others seem to have unicorns in body bags that will likely be still being benchraced years from now. So what are we left with? Just a forum with no real core? I am not complaining, if we went to all members having to race in columbus I need to do some car shopping tomorrow.

The difference between this site and alot I have been on is that there really is only a core group of guys that post. When you take into consideration that there are thousands of registered users there arent many posters. I was never sure why this is. You even see alot of lurkers that never seem to post. This being the case you dont get alot of assortment of opinions. Its kinda like people post the same thing over and over and you can sometimes follow identical posts from a user in one thread to another.

I am not sure if the rep points are doing what they were intended for either. I have seen adjusted rep bars since day one.

When I say Cr was better before, I am referring to the comradery and friendships which you could actually have. No not everyone got along, but you just didnt feel like you wanted to strangle everyone all the time.

He just asked for people to help come up with ways to improve what we all consider "our" site. I mean c'mon not everthread has to get like this. He's already removed some posts from the 1st page.Kinda hard for him to enjoy the site as well when hes always dealing with nonsense.

Dont take everything so literally. I guess I should have said not everyone. Everyone knows at this point you have started what appears to be a new business and Dana is a huge part of it. We all know your a sponsor but hell between all the sig pics and posts pertaining to the shop and drama(not saying its your fault) I sometimes have to tell myself this is cr not gearheadz. Dont get mad.

The senior section is hard to use because everyone is a senior. Hell a guy gets a new girlfriend shes automatically a senior. There are roles on cr or should be. I wouldnt come into your house and shit on the floor. Nor should a guy who first joins. Its obvious of this in 3/4 of all intro posts. Guys dont take anyones feelings into consideration before posting. Alot of it is due to being able to hide behind the keyboard. Everyone needs to start showing each other more respect and consideration. I am not saying be a bitch but try to think where a guy is coming from before jumping to conclusions.

There seems to be more "jumping on the bandwagon" mentality than usual. Probably because guys are afraid to have an opinion because of fear of retaliation. Sometimes its good to be able to just have a conversation on here. In my case, I am a 32 year old man. I have 3 kids, a job, responsibilities and I get on here just so I can converse on topics I choose to contribute to. I cant stand when a few guys post OT repeatedly and then the original topic dies or someone doesnt like some not agreeing with them and gets pissy.

I seen where you started getting that idea. It was more obvious with you than anyone I have ever seen(my opinion). Without throwing names and its not who you think, you were on the tailend of a few members postwhoring over and over then kinda stopping. You kinda stepped right in there and have taken flack for it ever since.
