Some mods have and do seem to have taken the power a bit far. Hell I didnt do a single moderator action for months after becoming one. I have since only deleted a few posts here and there which derailed topics or didnt help a thread. I have given out one infraction I believe and I still feel guilty about it, I have never and hopefully will never(to my recollection) screw with a member, change their name to something other than what they want, abuse my mod powers for the sake of my own amusement or just for lolz, blah blah blah. Nothing against Howard or Mike but I have yet to see them do any/many mod actions and maybe they have. Hard to compare with those that probably have more time to address these issues and are therefore seen as overmoderating. I have alot of time right now so I do a fair amount of moderating. I am doing nothing more than what these guys are expected to do. 9/10 I see them first or another mod and address them before they have a chance. You guys act like these are mod rules. Their not.

Dont act like your winning. Your being tolerated, thats not winning. Deleting you would only give you a reason to go around and complain "cr is to moderated, it isnt fair, the mods are mean". So to stop this and you from acting like Cr is a shithole only after your banned because you obviously think its the holy land as you visit it more often than true believers, you are merely tolerated, thats all.

If you didnt work with Brian and had him vouch for you I would have deleted you so many times Anthony would have had to remove my powers to get me to stop. Welcome posts aren't chat rooms Don't go offtopic in someone's welcome thread - this isn't an AOL chatroom. Keep discussion on point and civil. Noobs that break this rule are likely to get negative rep, making it harder to get on the board. Regular members that break this will get infractions. Remember - enough infractions in a set time frame will auto ban you, so try not to be a repeat offender.

For everyone whos sole argument when getting infracted or a post deleted is "the internet is serious business" it sure as hell must be the way you never fail to start a thread whining about it. I dont take it as serious deleting your post as you appear to do so in the effort you put in trying to figure out why, under the guise of acting like you dont care.

Gabe I rarely delete any posts unless they are negotiating for prices or happen to just be out of context which yours are 75% of the time. You contribute only when you want to and feel the rules do not or should not apply to you. Your not mad at either cordell or myself, your mad that there are rules in place. Call Anthony, tell him to change the rules. Yes the oven was a place that also had rules that were rarely enforced and while it kept away those who were obvious trolls it also had people such as yourself attacking people who were clearly assets to the site. I believe I have given out one infraction the entire time I have been a mod. If someone posts a serious topic anywhere other than the oven you are suppose to contribute to the progression of the thread or make a whitty comment having something to do with it or its posters, not make a post which completely derails the entire threads intent. You on the other hand post absolute nonsense and that tends to be deleted. Dont let Gabe fool you he has protectors on here as well. You get away with far more than any user I have ever seen.

I just think that at 16 hell even 18 your not wise enough to know what you want and like you said I think he would just like the attention. I am sure his friends get attention for theirs from their classmates.

I get it, I wouldnt do it either but in certain script I think it would at least appear 1/2way decent. Kinda like the script you really cant make out what it says.

It seems like lately I have seen alot of my sons friends with tattoos. Not just a little one either I am talking full back and sleeves or even entire chest. I know my son wont just go get one but he has spoke about his interest in his last name across the back. I told him once hes 18(18 months from now) to tat it up all he wants. Whats everyones opinion on teen tats? I say get whatever tat you want as long as your prepared to live with any regrets and hinderences they may create for you as long as your 18. But there is a small part of me that wouldnt necessarily care if he had one now that wasnt visible all the time and wasnt something I know he would hate later. I doubt he would regret his name completely but theres always that chance. I dont know why it wouldnt bother me as I am much more reserved than this. For the record I have yet to get a tattoo because I cannot find anything I dont think I would regret or fear it would come out looking odd.

I am with you on the shirts riding up. My favorite undershirts are the gray army ones that have been washed so many times they are almost paperthin. I dont wear to many white undershirts but finding ones that are thin enough they dont feel like a tshirt is always my problem.

Not hard to believe and I guess we all should have just assumed.

I am with you on the front end, that's exactly what throws me with that body style.

I hate that body style but that thing is clean.

But muscle is the first to go. I lost 43lbs in 2 weeks and 3 years later it still hasnt all come back.

I agree with everything in your post Brian. Now how do we make it happen? I think do to the makeup of our current society it would be very hard to get the support needed to effectively make change. There are just to many people out there that just dont care partially due to not having children currently dealing with these issues. Those of us that have schoolage kids care but admittedly I dont know if I will in another 7 years when all of mine are graduated. People would need to see this as a serious issue detrimental to us all for any serious changes.

I dont want my kids taught by a person whose sole credentials for being an educator is being able to tolerate school for an additional 5 years beyond me. I also dont want my kids taught by a person who feels that their ability to retain useless facts somehow means they would make a good educator. I do want them taught by someone who is able to practically apply lessons in a manner that allows my kids to learn and develop. Our education system shouldnt be setup to make a student with a good memory appear more intelligent than someone with actual intelligence but a poor memory.

Your paying for schools in the hope that good citizens who contribute to the upkeep of this country are created, no different than why others payed for you to attend. Dont be mad that you have to pay more, be upset that they spend what you knew you were paying when you bought your home incorrectly and then ask for more. I dont mind paying for schools I just want accountability both from the educators and the administrators.

State troopers was good the first season but then went way downhill. It's so cookie cutter at this point.
