if i end up getting a 1911 it will most likely be a springfield trp model. i heart the way kimbers look,but, i've heard better things about springfield than kimber lately.

The USPC 40 I carried for a while printed depending on the clothing i wore. I'm not that worried about the weight; a 1911 with a 4" barrel is only 3 oz heavier than what my uspc was, so as Austin said, with the right set up, it can definitely work.

I currently have a USP Tactical, but have been considering purchasing another pistol. The new P30 and HK45 are dead sexy, but I've wanted a 1911 forever. I havent carried in over a year because I sold my carry piece. I figured I could atleast carry a 1911, but obviously not an HK, and no, I dont really want to get the p2000sk series. What do you think? 1911 or HK series, and why?

I installed a new heatseak/fan on my geforce 5700 ultra video card. however, i forgot to plug in the 4 pin molex connector to the video card upon booting the machine. the monitor has power, but wouldnt boot from the machine.(for lack of a better description) i turned off the machine after realizing i didnt plug in the power cord, and plugged it in...but the monitor still wont turn on. everything else is fine as far as i can tell. would me turning on the computer without having the power cord plugged in do anything? it worked fine untill i messed with everything. any help would greatly be appreciated.

meh, not really. i was barely able to bench my body weight. i had a really good routine, and even better work out partner. my leg workouts have always been insane, though.

i havent worked out in a coons age, but these are my best totals i was 21-22 at the time. i'm 24 now. Body weight: 225 max bench 250X2 max squat 320X8 max dead lift 315X2 max leg press 1170X8 i would be surprised if i could lift/push/pull half of my bests right now.

I left my head lights on for about forty minutes today... Well, I walked out the front door and saw my lights were still on.. They were still bright, and had not been left on that long so I figured my car would start..... Wrong the car will turn over and make a really loud clicking noise but won't start. The lights and power locks and cd player still works, but the car wont fire. my car has done this once before, but, a loose battery terminal was the culprit. i had auto zone test the battery about a month ago when it wouldnt start, and everything came back fine, so i'm just trying to figure out what the problem is. the terminals were screwed on tight so i'm not sure what the deal is. i know the battery is at least 2 years old, because i havent changed it since i bought the car. i think it's a honda oem battery, which means it's probably been in the car since 02. if the battery was shot, the lights and accessories wouldnt function, right? i don't have any other vehicles so i cant take the battery to have auto zone to test it again. any input would be greatly appreciated!

thye arent that expensive. i picked mine up for 940 a couple of years ago. i think they're going for 980 or so now. the mags are quite expensive. i found a great deal with CDNN where i got a free 10 round mag when i purchased a 12 rounder.

1)don't know... i went through opota so i didnt have to take the BS 12 hour course. 2)again, don't know since i didnt have to take the class. 3)i've heard good things about OVO and NASR 4)everything 5)i hardly carry. mostly because i'm either at work, or in class... either of which i cant carry. i used to carry a uspc 40 caliber in a IWB comp-tac holster, however, i have since sold the gun. the only other handgun i have right now is a usp tactical and there is no way in hell i'm carrying that thing.

I hate to do it, but i must sell based on my current financial situation. up for sale is a Bushie A3 16" hbar. it probably has about 1500-2k rounds down the pipe. i've shot mostly 5.56 Federal Lake City XM193C 55gr quality ammo. no cheap wolf ammo that will wear extractors down and gunk up the rifle. it will come with 1 magazine(i have 23 more but i plan on buying another one when my finances come back in order in a couple of months) and a 2 point sling.
