    Gun Crew?

i'll probably keep my USP in the glove box all the time now; i don't have a holster that fits it, so atleast i'll be able to have it in the car without having to worry about facing legal issues since it's not holstered, or in a locked compartment.

  6. lol the academy... i bought them 2 years ago. and for teh ladies.
  7. i know, that's why i sold it and got the hk usp tactical
  8. the night sights on my sig 220 were junk. the front barely had any glow to it. iirc it had an 07 date code.
  9. I want to install nights sights for my usp tactical; i'm tired of the black on black hk adjustable sight's that came with it. i'd like to still have adjustable sights, in the event i get a suppressor... what recommend as far as brands go? i've heard a lot of people in the hk world talk about henie's full adjustable night sights... here's a pic, just because i can http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/9259/img01052uj4.jpg http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/9259/img01052uj4.adaa144dae.jpg
  10. Basically you're missing the point. Police officers are sworn to obide by opota standards. IE qualifying at 50' yearly . i can take a picture of my qualification sheet from opota if you are unsure of the standards. it's highly unlikely they were shooting at 30' to qualify...but marking down 50 that's all i'm saying just for you, LJ http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/9159/pictureyf4.jpg
  11. Do you have a public or private range? me thinks a public since it wasn't "private" enough for them. consider this... most cops would not want to qualify at an open range where it's crowded with people. esp when they don't know who they are. They didn't want some place more private because they'd rather act in a wanton manner that would jeopardize everything they've worked for. give me a break.
  12. you probably weren't present when they qualified at 50' you've watched, i've done it. thanks for playing.
  13. you have to qualify at 50' to pass opota's standards to be a cop...i think you are misinformed.
  14. I don't think I do either, however, I think under texas law, a person is justified using deadly force to protect property. i could be wrong though, it's been known to happen.
  15. Hk's customer service has actually improved. i spent a lot of time on ar15.com and hkpro and i've heard more people praising the service they recieved rather than conedeming it(SP?) 1 black rifle is enough for me right now. i have 24 thirty round magazines; i know that's not a lot, but it's plenty for me. i've put about 5k rounds through it in the 3 years i've had it, so that put's me at roughly 139 rounds a month. if i shot more, and had the funds, i'd probably consider buying another ar, or maybe even a strippd lower.. but for now, i must hold off.
  16. i've never shot an MP15 but i've handled quite a few of them. i do however enjoy my bushmaster. i've had practically 5k flawless rounds. the only thing i can think of was a FTE due to me shooting wolf ammo. i was thinking about getting an m&p but the new hk45 will be my next purchase. it's just too sexy to pass up.
  17. i lol'd at this for fortay minutes
  18. just a 9mm? i usually have my AR slung across my chest.
  19. you should be embarassed, you have no idea what you're talking about. cops have to qualify at 50', not 20' as you previously stated.
  20. that's not entirely true. there's been a trend of people knocking/ringing door bells late at night in lancaster, and when the homeowner opens the door to see why someone is knocking at their door at 1am, guns are pointed and they're basically robbed. EDIT: doh, guess V8 Beast already covered that.
  21. check out the EE section of ar15.com for pmags i bought 10 windowless pmags for 141 with free shipping from eguns.com hell of a deal. i think i'm up to 24 total now
  22. i dont necessarily agree with that. One my way home on a friday night around 1am, i was stopped by OSP. his reason for stopping me was because i was swerving down a highway; legit reason to stop me, but, i had dropped my cell phone on the floor and was trying to find it, causing me to swerve. I told him that I wasn't carrying when he approached my car, just so he felt more at ease. His reply of "ok good" kind of threw me through a loop. I know i didn't have to justify anything to him, but i informed him i worked in the pententiary and that i've ran into a couple shit bags on the street, and that me having a CCW if for my protection, as well as his. he just kind of looked at me confused, but i don't expect OSP to know a lot about that kind of thing.
