what the hell is a GAGT? its done this before, and it seemed to have just went away. my headgasket was replaced 2 days ago, could that have anything to do w/ it?

Ok..So, I got my headgasket replaced a couple days ago. Since then, i have noticed that my car makes a knocking noise when i give it gas after being stopped. it also boggs down and acts like its not getting enough fuel or something. or like its going to die. i have no clue what the problem is. it has done it before but it went away. oddly enough, it came back when i took my car to the shop. if its not one thing its another. anyone have a clue what it could be? thanks

nope. the distributor is all the way on the other side of the engine..my dad was too tired and pissed to change the wires and boot...

my car has been missing bad for the last 2 months. i changed the spark plugs about a month ago thinking it would help. well it did at first. it ran fine for a while. yesterday i get into my car and right away i notice it missing..the car shakes out of control...when i push on the accelerator, it bogs down and barely goes anywhere. it died on me twice in less than 3 minutes. the odd thing is it died when i made two right turns....i made sure the rubber boots were making good contact with the plugs, they were as far as i could tell. i told my dad about the problem and he said it could be the fuel pump or the modulator. im running low on cash and i hope its cheap to fix..w/e the problem is...if anyone has an input or advice it owuld be greatly appreicated..i know getting a new car would fix the problem. but im a broke college student. thanks

it doesnt have an odor that i noticed..and the smoke isnt dark..it just looks like smoke

my girlfriend has a 96 cavalier sport...smoke comes out from where the radiator fan is on some pipe or hose...all the fluids are ok...its a quart low on oil..the engine is making a ticking noise...anyone know what the smoke could be coming from? one of her friends told her it could be a cracked manifold..but i dont think it is...not necessarily worried about the ticking noise..unless its causing the smoke..anyone know what could be wrong?

it speeds up when my air is on..it gets so annoying that i have to put it in neutral to stop it from shaking..when its in neutral..it doesnt idle..which makes sense..

when i have my air on full blast..and im sitting at a light..my car like sputters..and it only does it when the air is on..it idles rough..so im thinking that the idle has something to do with it..anyone have any suggestions on how i can fix the problem?

i didnt say they had nice equipment..i just said they know there shit smile.gif and some of the cd plaeyers they ahve in lancaster are nice..and the only way i know of you being able to get the same price on stuff is from ebay..all of which you most likely wont get w waranty or anything

lite on is pretty good too, i have a sony and i heard from a reliable source that they're manufactring the CD RW's, too.

ahhhhh, how i DONT MISS the pentium 166 days..ive moved on to way bigger and better things smile.gif
