  1. Yeah, I practically stole it. It was actually listed at that for three months. Nobody would look at it because they figured it would be junk at that price. I will probably try to sell it for 119,000 just to move it quick. The appraised value was about 132,000 from both the mortgage and insurance people. If anyone is interested, call my cell at (614) 439-3970. I'll be getting a realtor lined up this week.

    Goodbye

I'm going to be moving back to Pennsylvania in a few weeks. Colleen got a new teaching job that she's wanted and RadioShack is transferring me to a new store. We'll be in Warren, PA. It's a little backwoods town in the middle of nowhere about 20 miles south of Jamestown, NY. I've met a few good people and made some good friends that I'll miss. I hope to see some people out before I leave. Take care and so long.

  12. All in favor of closing registration again, aye! I think IP blocking would be a great tool for this tool. So who is it?
  13. Using a portable scanner is fine. Using a portable scanner in the act of committing a crime...that's a different story. By the way, if anyone needs the hookup on frequencies, TGID's, or other programming stuff for scanners, let me know.

  18. I was hoping for him to be eligible for the draft so we could watch all the teams pass him over for a few rounds to deflate his ego.
  19. I'll get right on that.
  20. I like the rims I have stock, but I guess I'll start researching close sizes that will still fit. The closest match I can find for now is still like about 15 revs per mile off.
  21. 215/45/16 in the rear 185/55/15 in the front
  22. So I was having a little problem with vibration at highway speed. It's been getting worse recently and I took it to the dealer to see what the deal was. They balanced the tires with no improvement. They did an alignment with no improvement. The service manager feels that it is due to premature tire wear and refers me to Bridgestone. The front tires are cupped and the rear tires are feathered. Bridgestone refers me back to Toyota because they say it's a vehicle design issue. Between the inability to rotate the tires and the camber on the rear, they say it's Toyota's fault. Anyway, the tires are W rated and have no mileage warranty anyway. So I decide to start looking into a new set of tires for when the vibration is unbearable or the wear bars start showing. If the nature of this car is to go through a set of tires every 25,000 miles, I'm going to get some tires with a nice long warranty. Wrong... the only commercially available tire in that size is the exact make and model that's on it...without any kind of warranty. So basically the tire could melt down to the wear bars by the time I hit the end of the parking lot and I'm up the proverbial creek without a paddle. Wouldn't be too bad if it weren't $750 for a new set of tires. Chalk it up to the cost of ownership I guess. Any ideas? Just figured I would vent a little.
  23. I think it's funny how people will drive all over the place over a few pennies. Some people defend their actions saying it's not the money, but the point of the matter. In reality, all they're doing is helping the big stations that have more room to skim their profit margins and undercut the small guy by a penny or two.
