  1. I'd say they deserve to be taught a lesson. You can report them for all kinds of stuff and just hassle them to death. If that doesn't work, use some covert ops...like the old flaming bag of dog schit or some m80s in the mailbox. graemlins/nod.gif
  2. Nissan.bankruptcy.what? If they're so awesome, why, in 1999, were their balls an inch and a half from the band saw? Not to mention that Toyota has the largest cash reserves of any company on the face of the earth. I work at Toyota, but I will let you in on the secret everyone else already knows in the industry...Nissan/Infiniti ALWAYS lags behind in quality. As for design, consider that the Toyota Tundra platform is unchanged in several years and will get a major redesign soon. Ever hear of TMMTX?? The topic of the post was quality: Toyota >> Nissan.
  3. Waiting for vids proclaiming ownage. graemlins/popcorn.gif
  4. I haven't in a few years, I still have my Ride board and boots stored though. Maybe I'll get out there sometime this winter.
  5. That car = money pit If you're looking for a project car to dump all your disposable income into, it sounds perfect. Does it have a clean title?
  6. I'm putting my truck up for sale since there I've got an opportunity I don't want to miss. Right now, I don't have any pics to post, but I can get them within a week or so. Metallic blue and silver tutone exterior Navy interior with split bench seat Standard cab 5.7L 350, auto ~170k miles ~14mpg average Auminum alloy wheels with good tires, lots of tread left Power windows and locks Remote start installed, works perfectly 4wd works fine, transfer case wiring harness was replaced by previous owner Extra leaf springs in the rear for more hauling capacity Trailer hitch equipped Includes fiberglass cap, although I rarely use it Older cd player -not great but it works fine Flaws that I know of include the paint not being perfect (it's a work truck), the driver's side door has some bondo and does not quite line up properly (door shuts and seals fine however), I traced down a wiring problem with the turn signals so now all lights work properly, and finally the U-joints probably need replacing (should be straight forward though). Other than that, this truck is stout and runs very very strong. The original owner (I am the 3rd) put ~100k miles on it in the first year and a half (and mostly highway). Asking $4000 firm, but please no trades, this is a very nice work truck. [edit]: PM me with offers or for phone contact info. Thanks!
  7. Well, at this rate, I don't think they deserve to win in the Big 10, let alone go to a bowl game. I'd say we should call it a "rebuilding year," since we're dropped out of the rankings as of this game, and just come back with some more experience next year. I'm disappointed in the offensive line and a few particular names I won't mention. I was interested to see Troy Smith get some playing time, and to be honest, he shows more potential than Zwick, he's just inexperienced. I would be happy losing the rest of the season and starting Troy Smith, if that's what it takes to start next season of right.
  8. Congrats, you found a REEEEEeeeeee
  9. Glad I missed it...just the waste-of-life media justifying their paychecks. I see it as a good way to raise your blood pressure, but it drops IQ at the same time so I use the OFF button.
  10. I second that. Oh and we know our gang color can't be purple, they already took that one.
  11. I'm torn between New Castle and a Snakebite (Woodchuck topped with Bass Ale). For drinks I'm a big Red Bull and Jager fan, since I'm usually dead tired from working all week when I go out.
  12. Looks like a sweet contender in the awd turbo sedan market. I'd rock it.
  13. 2001 BMW 540i Then prepare for the Dinan supercharger. graemlins/thumb.gif
  14. Hahahahaha graemlins/grin2.gif That's funny shit. But seriously, lay down the law now. By putting it off you only make yourself more miserable, I know this from experience. If you are bigger, I suggest threatening physical violence...you can always deny it later. Good luck to you.
  15. $9k+ for an N/A is stupid. I love Toyotas, but shit man, they're not worth that. For $9k you can get a nice 91 turbo...not exactly like the inflated AE86 or Supra markets.
  16. Pony up and get the Nextel. Verizon phones suck (I have one) and for some reason my phone number is no longer local to my residence? So I'm kinda pissed at them and the next contract I get will be Nextel.
  17. I would take the amount you want to spend, then invest 25% of that, and still get a really nice car. There are some very good earnings to be had if you play your investments right, and yes I am taking my own advice, even though my impatience is killing me.
  18. That 2003 Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG is the hotness. Just a little beyond what I wanna spend at this point...if only I were finished with school.
  19. Become the boss. Then the company ink is complementary.
  20. I see those Celicas all over the place now. They actually sold really well in the high school market, it was good timing. This is the last year for the Celica by the way, the Tc is taking over completely in model year 2006. Nice find on that page...cracked me up.
  21. It's definitely available from 3M but I've never heard how much professional application costs. I'd definitely get it for a new car, if only for piece of mind.
