Except that not every dollar you pay for taxes doesn't go entirely for roads. I'd like to know how much of our tax money goes to the actual construction of public works and services versus the amount paid for non-value added things. Considering the government as a cycle or process, the output per dollar input is pretty low IMHO. However, on a sidenote, I don't think there's really much lateral room to maneuver about the taxes assessed on the money you removed from 401K. Yes, you earned that money, but also under the laws of this country you knew you were going to pay taxes. Uncle Sam has simply come back to take the tax break he gave you on your 401K contribution, which is still fair game because those were the rules to begin with. You always pay the institution, wherever you go and that's why it's the Golden Rule: He who has the gold makes the rules. I understand your frustration, but we all live it along with you. Before anyone starts quoting scripture, please state your credentials as a biblical scholar and where you got your doctorate in theology. Even the devil will come quoting scripture. I encourage each one of you to read not only the Bible, but also the historical background surrounding it, as well as writings from important figures in the development of Christianity. Somewhere in all the scripture, history and various interpretations from Tertullian, Marcion, Augustine, Origen, Martin Luther, Athenasius and others, you may find what you truely believe as a Christian. Beyond the dogma of religion, each individual should develop their own faith. Attacking my beliefs or anyone's is not the idea of theological debate; make your own case to satisfy your soul.

Sorry to hear about your car. The legality of your parking job is not in question, so I don't understand why people need to add that to the equation. Nowhere is it "park at your own risk" when you get towed, there is liability attached to any handling of other people's property. I hear about horrible towing companies at every large school; entire websites are dedicated to them. Hopefully you can force them to cover your damages, but don't waste your money and time on bringing them down. Every towing service I've ever dealt with was shady and I would want as little to do with them as possible.

Football is one that hasn't come up yet. Take a long coffee table and tape off two endzones with electrical tape. Use your judgement, not too big but not too small, you gotta land dice in it. Stick a 1" tape hash mark in the dead center of each endzone. The idea is to use 2 man teams with each player rolling one die. One team rolls for the endzone, then the other team collects the dice and rolls. You can knock your partner's die into the endzone, or sometimes off the table. If any part of your die sits in the endzone at the end of your turn, they drink that many. Landing on the hash is the roll value +10, and rolling doubles gives your team a second turn. Play to 50 with the losing team getting a last rebuttle turn to make up some difference. OT is when the losing team surpasses the winning team and you keep going till someone wins for good. graemlins/thumb.gif

Your security is very important: keeping away the trouble while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude. A good DJ who knows how to mix and nightly drink specials will bring the crowd, which in turn populates it with hot chicks. Flow of the club is probably #3, if I can't make it to the bar or the bathroom without climbing over people, it needs some attention. COnsider the club at it's most crowded; where are the bottlenecks? I don't mind cover, but $10 is about all I'll pay around this area. A patio area, with those space heaters that look like street lamps would be nice bonus for the smoking crowd.
