dolly rental is cheap go rent it for a day and load it up and drive around see how it feels.

I only ever had problems useing my dolly when I loaded RWD cars backwards they get slap happy at 45+. Loaded corect I have gone 65-70 and forgot it was back there.

If it is a stick I guess that should be ok, autos however don't like it. I whould pull it lose from the diff and strap it up just to be sure.

Just rent a tow dolly and take the drive shaft out of the stang (don't try to tow it backwards it will get crazy on you)
