    so at 90 a hr (highest I have ever saw a none dealer charge) that is 630 so that leaves 770 charged for parts and tax....

    it is a fairy labor intensive job but yes 1400 sounds high. I don't have access to a labor and time guide to see what book calls for, but I would expect only a few hundred is parts. (water pump, chain kit, fluids, etc)

    So for my mother I am looking at like $200, uses android, does not cost me a ton each month, preferred to a wifi signal instead of cell service. SO nook? Kindle fire? samsung? I know VERY little about them. She would read books maybe a little music and play "mind exercise games"
