I had to be at work like 15 min after I picked it up and I dont get off until 12. I didnt really notice it until I got on 270 and then I was right back off at Tuttle. I was on the phone with the manager by the time I pulled in to the parking lot at work. And yes I have learned my lesson with Carmax. They sold my trade in already so if I return it then I will not have a DD until I find something else.

Doesnt the dealerships Ins usually cover test drives? I have never been asked for ins info for a test drive, just my license.

Well I got the car back today and its getting dropped back off on Monday. I finally was able to speak with the store mgr and he promised me that he will take control of this situation and get it taken care of on Monday. HA HA. The steering wheel is at about 2 oclock when your going straight down the road. The supposedly did an alignment on it today after they put the car back together. Steering wheel still shakes also. Fuck Tards. If they dont get it right this time then its definitly getting returned and Ill just go car shopping somewhere else. Parts and work so far: left side axle alignment tires balanced Stabilizer links Stabilizer bar Strut Bearing Strut mounts Swaybar links Rear cradle bolts Front cradle bolts And they are not hanging parts? The problem is still there and now they made it even worse by doing a shitty job on an alignment. I understand trying to track down problems can sometimes be difficult but I have worked at several dealerships and shit like this is a sign of a poor tech. I am looking at the RO and the same tech has done all of the work every time. I dont claim to be a great tech because I am absolutely not but thats why I do my shit on the ground in my garage and with hand tools. This is not what I do for a living. This makes me think of that repair thread last week and why most people prefer to do their own stuff. Carmax has to have cut in to thier profit significantly and from a business standpoint I would be pissed if this were my business.

Carmax has a 30 day bumper to bumper guarantee when you buy a car. They took the car in and started hanging parts and then realized they were in over their head. Shit like this is exaclt why I get so fired up about our rights as citizens being violated. Like some of the police encounters that we hear about and stuff on here and people say oh just be quiet and be glad the cop didnt shoot you or some other bullshit explanation on why its ok that their rights were trampled on and they were mistreated. People should look at whats happening in all these other countries and that should be motivation in itself to protect the rights that we have. Each individual should fight as hard as they can to keep and protect them. That is exactly why the government keeps growing and everything has become so heavily regulated. Efff Byers in general. The wife and I have purchase our last 4 DD's from them and I was going to buy that G6 GTP from them at the Delaware Toyota location. Did all teh financing over the phone and everything. So the guy says come on up and we will have everything ready for you. I said are you sure because I am driving from Blacklick and dont want to come up until everything is all set. So I get there an hour later and they are finishing up the paperwork with someone else on the car that I was in the process of already buying. The Sales Mgr, pretty much tells me oh well. The GM calls me the next day telling me how sorry he is and is there anything he can do to get me to come back and buy another car. I said nope, that was the only car that they had that I wanted and that the sales mgr and salesman were so rude that I will never be back to Byers and that I took my business elsewhere.

I noticed the problem the first full day I had it which falls in line with their 5 day return policy, which is why I still have the option to return it if I want. You obviously are not just auto stupid. It appears that you FAIL at reading as well.

I think its gonna be hard to prove that you had 300 in the wallet. All he has to say is taht he found it outside the gas station and returned it. He has a pretty good case to get out of it since he returned it kind of and didnt use any of your cards. If it were me I would pull that dude to the side and state that you know he took it and said gas station has it on video. I would then say if you return the 300.00 then I will not fuck you up. I will not call the cops and press charges on you and the issue will die right here. Then after he pays you I would fuck him up and or go to the cops and file a report stating he admitted to it and paid you back. That should be good for a petty theft charge at the very least.

I already threatened to give it back and they said that they would allow me to do that since my complaints started before their 5 day return guarantee was up. I really like the car and dont wanna take it back though. I mean if worse comes to worse then I will but we will see.

Yeah I told her that on the phone today. I said so basically I dont have a VW Passat anymore. I know have a car queat Passat". She still is trying to insist that they are not throwing darts. I said then if thats the case then the damned thing would have been fixed already. Yeah they did that after they relaced the axel. But my thinking would be a slight vibration at highway speed only, sounds like the tires need balanced first. They still have not done that even after I have asked them to check that 4 times.
