  1. I agree, the B-52 and Kc-135 are still doing there jobs just fine and will continue to do so as long as they keep paying for upkeep but dont pull this crap where you stop giving units money to maintain their planes and then cry that we need new planes because the old ones arent in good shape. As for fighters I've yet to see a F-35 fly in person and the F-22 impresses the hell out of me but like was stated above, who are we going to fight with this thing? When was the last time we had a worthy adversary in the air? We havent in my life time or in my time in the air force. Also with this coming out: http://www.wpafb.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123339926 why dont we just have Boeing (Thats who owns McDonnell Douglas now which is who originally made the F-15) make a few more for us?
  2. Maybe someone that used to have miliary tuberculosis? Other than that I've got nothing. You would think a group as militant as the kkk would know how to spell military. Lol
  3. That's almost exactly the same thing I was saying about guns just the other day. Those of us that are pro gun know all of the safe fun things you can do with them. Most non gun people nowadays have no knowledge of guns other that Hollywood and the media, they think that the only thing that a gun is used for is killing someone.
  4. Truth, I guess this drug bust in Fairfield county: http://abc6onyourside.com/shared/news/features/top-stories/stories/wsyx_breaking-fairfield-co-authorities-make-multimillion-dollar-drug-bust-24936.shtml Stemmed from an domestic disturbance call where the guys old lady proceeded to tell the cops about her old mans alcohol problems and then let them in the barn to show them around. lol
  5. They must have had some legit reason to pull that person over, you cant just randomly pick people out of a crowd and search there vehicle. It does seem weird but I have to believe that they have a legit and legal reason for what they are doing. I hope
  6. +1 not to mention some of the nasty ass bug guts I've seen smeared across my visor, I would hate to have that crap all over my face.
  7. Racism is just laziness in my eyes, most people will give you plenty of good legitimate reasons to dislike them if you just take the time to get to know the person first.
  8. Thanks for posting those up, you got some pics of cars that I wish I would have taken pics of.
  9. Wow I'm impressed that it drew that kind of crowd but you couldn't have asked for the weather to be any better especially after the wet two weeks we had before the show.
  10. I got 1 pic of the engine and a blurry pic of the interior but as you guys already know it was hard to get pics of this one. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/Picture150.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/Picture149.jpg
  11. Really??? Everybody looks cute and innocent at that age. Maybe they should have made up some posters of Zimmerman at that age and had rallies to support his innocence. lol
  12. I agree completely, one could argue that many of the mast shady neighborhoods are that way because people do just that "mind their own business" It's the same reason that as a kid my friends and I could get away with very little because the whole neighborhood was in our business but it kept us straight
  13. Also in the movie "Tucker: The mans and his dream" Lustron is the company that took over the Tucker factory after the government shut Tucker down. I thought that was funny since Tuckers were assembled in Chicago and obviously Lustrons were built right here in Columbus.
  14. Well it has an insulation but I never have been able to figure out how thick the insulation is. Theoretically it could be like living inside of a refrigerator. The heater was a radiant style heater in the ceiling and I've heard that it didnt work out as well as they hoped. Also an interesting note these homes came with the option for a clothes/dishwasher built in to the kitchen counter. All you had to do is ad a rack for your dishes.
  15. There is a Lustron home website that lists most of them that are still in existence. Still a few around Columbus and surrounding areas if you want to see one in its natural environment. Can't wait to see the exhibit myself. There is one on Lillychapel-georgesville red that I thought was a sears home for years until I saw this article
  16. I always try to check this show out, as far as I know it's got the widest variety of cars of any show than any other show in Columbus and it's a nice setting with plenty of shade.
  17. Well you can't blame the workers, not getting paid for 11 days is a big hit. But I laugh at the government that thinks it will somehow save money doing this. Not only are government workers incredibly creative when it comes to squeezing all they can out of the government but just think of the work hours waisted not doing their job while they figure out how to save their pay. Oh and I'm a government worker so I've done my fair share of this.
  18. You should tell them that they did not have a proper speed limit sign for the hearing impaired. Let them mull that one over for a bit. Lol
  19. I dont know what other advertising they had out for this event but I just happened to see this on Facebook and even QS&L's website says nothing of the show. Seems like they could get the word out a little better.
  20. Uh just so you know the link you posted shows them for $560 used. Not trying to bust your chops just letting you know.
  21. That was like walk up and sucker punch a nun in the guts awesome. Lol Wish he would have said what was in it though.
