Are the lights under the lower panel? I've never seen any lights while poking around on this thing.
-
Well it's a Leeno model number G26Q4/5-100-1 Its got a spark ignition, just a little wire that arcs a spark to start the pilot light.

Well knock on wood but I think I fixed my problem. I checked out my fresh air pipe and it was clean from the furnace out then I took a close look at the screen that sits above my burners just below my intake pipe and found two small dried up leaves blocking the airway. Now keep in mind that this screen is probably at least 14"x 10" since it covers all of the burners and the fresh air pipe is probably a 6" pipe, could these little shriveled up leaves really impede airflow so much that it would cause me problems? I removed the leaves and things are working as advertised right now, hopefully it continues to do so. Thanks for all the help.

Yes it's new enough that it has the plastic flue pipes going out of the side of the house. What pressure switch are you referring to? Is there something that measures the pressure inside of the burner box?
-
I thought about that and I will try it but why would it work fine with the burner cover off of the sensor was dirty?

So I've got a Lennox high efficiency gas furnace that has had an issue that I've been fighting for a while. Well actually when I first bought this house we had the problem then my brother in law cleaned some things and it seemed to be working well but now it's doing it again. The problem is the burner will not stay lit but it will stay lit if I simply take the cover to the blower off. With the cover on you can hear the ignition firing then see the pilot light then the burner fires up but after maybe 5 seconds the burner goes out again. If I take the cover to the burner off it's the same sequence but the burner stays lit, if I put the cover back on as soon as I put it on you can see the burner flame turn from blue to orange then back to blue again then about 15-20 seconds later the flame goes out again. With this coming weeks frigged temps this is really starting to worry me. Thanks and any advice would really be appreciated.

I'm a senior member here as a default only because, well I joined a long time ago, I've never met anyone on here in person and I have to say that it's easy to start thinking that it's just a bunch of over opinionated a$$holes on here who don't give a shit about anyone. Well the recent thread about helping our own has shown me that you folks do good work here, it (Columbus Racing) really is a group of decent people. As we march forward into 2014 I would like to wish everyone on here a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year. FWIW from one big a$$ CR lurker HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

If you end up getting that and need some parts for it I've got a ST/16 sitting in my garage that ran great until it stopped getting spark. Haven't really had the time or the initiative to mess with it but I've also got a good mower deck and a plow blade that goes with it.

This car makes me giggle like a little school girl. Good luck with the sale wish I had the extra money to throw your way.

Picked mine up at the west broad store yesterday, seems like a really nice kit for $90 on a side note I knew the westland mall was going down hill but damn that place is literally empty. Even though I always dislikes westland its still sad to see what it has become.

Tesla Dealers about to be outlawed in Ohio

I'm not sure as to why Ricart would feel that Tesla is enough of a threat to his empire to make a stupid comment like this. -
Well Obetz sucks but it will be a convenient location. And having another range in the area is always good. The location will assure that there is some quality people watching to be had.

Well there is a "paint" that is chrome looking and it is no more durable than standard paint in fact if I remember correctly it has a standard clear cot over top of it. Its really a pretty cool process to watch. Here's a website that has some videos of the process. http://www.sprayonchrome.com/index2.html

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that good cops (that are trained by accredited schools) are not trained to give someone multiple rectal exams and enemas in order to find drugs but these guys did just that. Now that being said if they are willing to do this it's not a big leap of faith to conclude that they would use their dogs as a tool for their inappropriate behavior. So in other words if there is a bad accident at the track and someone is injured and someone on a forum is claiming that whoever built the cage in the car did it wrong. Coming on and saying that a professional chassis builder would not have done that doesn't really mean much. Ok "they" wouldn't have done that but "who" built it and would "they" do that. Thats all I'm getting at.
-
LJ with all due respect your friend may not train dogs to do that but he or she is not the only person in the country that trains dogs. It would be incredibly easy to train a dog to alert to armor all, air fresheners, McDonalds, anything really. As a bystander you only know that the dog is alerting not what it's alerting to.

Knock on wood I've had the Toshiba laptop that I'm posting this from since 2006, only issue I've had was a bad stick of memory and a hard drive which was my fault since I dropped it off of my lap while it was running.

Fixing some one elses mistakes. Bleeding brakes
buelliganx1 replied to Browning's topic in Tech and Tips
Do it, I love mine. Gets a little annoying keeping track of all the adapters for different master cylinders but damn itrs nice to just be able to attach the thing to your master, pump it up and go around and crack your bleeders open and just sit back and wait for clean air free brake fluid to start running. -
NY to LA in under 29 hours Cannonball Run style
buelliganx1 replied to justinwebb's topic in Dumpster
That's crazy, I drove from Naples FL over to Ft Lauderdale then back to Columbus in one shot one time and I was a damn zombie when I got home. There was a hurricane hitting Florida and if we would have driven up the west coast we would have driven right through it, as it was we kind of came in behind it and followed it up the east coast. Made for an interesting drive dodging debris in the road and trying to find gas stations that had power and were open. -
Well I am a mechanic not an economist otherwise I would be on Columbus economics.com duh I've said it before and I'll say it again none of the ideas created in this site will ever be tried in the real world so arguing about it on here is as useful as arguing who should have won the 1980 Superbowl or who will win it in 2020. In other words a complete waist of time.
-
I get what your saying I guess it just never seemed like they could get the power down to the road. All the videos I've seen seem like they just end up spinning their tires, thats probably more due to bad drivers but as I've never had the chance to drive one myself that is all I have to go on.

I think what would be "fair" is for everyone to be taxed at the same rate. That would free up income for people to donate to charities if they choose to do so and I believe that people would if they had the ability. This would also enable people to donate to charities that actually help people and not donate to charities that just hand out money to make you feel better. As it stands now really a tax is just a cut of your pay that the government is taking in order to give it to the charities that they choose. Actually here's an idea instead of taxes require that I donate at least say 10% of my earnings to charity, let me choose where my money goes. I'm willing to bet you would see a whole lot more accountability for where the money goes if people had the choice to not give you money if you weren't producing results. The government has a bad habit of just handing out blank checks and not asking for or expecting an explanation for where that money goes. I read Lee Iaccoca's biography and when he took over Chrysler either he took a government handout or Chrysler had taken one before he was involved with them but he turned the company around and made a profit. IIRC he personally handed a check to President Reagan paying the government back and he said he had to laugh because the government didnt know what to do with the check. They had never had anyone pay them back before. That is a problem.

I've always liked the looks of these ford GT's but never really been impressed with their performance. Seems like these guys have figured out how to do it right.
-
No I wouldnt that why I made the choices that I did in order to best assure that I wouldnt be where they are.

That's the problem this health care act was like a sniper using a shotgun. You might hit your intended target with a pellet or two but your also hitting everything around your target that you weren't supposed to hit. If this boondoggle were only helping those who truly need the help and not dragging so many people in to it that didn't need any help at all I wouldn't have such a problem with it. Who wrote this crap? It's my understanding that it was a bunch of politicians. Whatever happened to the country that would assemble the greatest minds on a subject to assure that they would achieve the goal at hand. Imagine if we would have used this approach to the space race or the building of the atom bomb. Obama is acting like a football coach that is trying to play the game himself, here's an idea idiot put your players in the game. He has at his fingertips access to people who could solve this problem or at least get it heading in the right direction yet he continues to try to fix it himself or with the help of lawyers/politicians.

Copo shmopo I would much rather go back in time and get a hold of this truck. Look closely and I believe you will see 3 1969 Yenko Camaros and 3 69 Yenko Chevelles. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/Yenko.jpg Or if you must have a Copo this pic is behind Yenko Chevrolet, a whole field of Copo's http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/YenkoBackyard.jpg
