If it was mine I would do that, actually if it was mine I would just install Linux and be done with it.

Well we already bought a new HD for it and since it's a crap HP computer I'm sure they wouldnt honor anything. Honestly her dad makes the worst decisions on computer stuff that I have ever seen.

So my step daughters father bought her a new HP laptop for Christmas. Well while she was on it the other day it crashed on her and since it was not new but refurbished and her dad didnt get an extended warranty I'll be fixing it for her. I've narrowed it down to a bad hard drive since it will boot to Linux through the USB and in the BIOS I cant even check the hard drive because it doesnt recognize it as being there. So here's my problem, it was originally loaded with Windows 8 obviously thats on the hard drive so it's not there any more, I have no recover disk and there is no Windows product key sticker on her laptop. How do I go about re installing Windows 8? I dont even want to waste my time calling Microsoft since I dont have a product key, I've never seen a computer with windows installed that doesnt have the product key somewhere on it before, is this a new thing?

36 years ago today I was almost 4 years old, I don't have any memories of the storm and dont really remember my folks talking about anything bad happening. We lived on the north side of Columbus on McGuffey Rd but I dont think we lost power or were stuck in the house for very long. As fun as that stuff was when I was young now that I am older and have kids and a family to keep warm and safe I dread the thought of something like that happening. My 80+ year old house holds in heat like a screen door and if we lost power for any length of time especially with these below zero temps I'm not sure how long my 2 Kerosene and 1 propane heater would keep this old house warm. I would hope that especially in a small community like we live in now that people would band together and help each other through something like a blizzard but I'm not so sure that folks would do that anymore either through lack of caring or like has been covered here before just lack of skills and equipment.

Well it's pretty simple he's got a big cock that's about it oh and I've heard many female porn stars say his pussy eating skills were off the chart so maybe they kept requesting to do shots (he he shot's takes on many different meanings here) with him.

Berto hit the nail on the head for me. I've been going to the doctors off and on for at least 10 years now trying to diagnose a throat/neck problem that's been bothering me. I've had ultrasounds, MRI's, throat strobe-a-scopes, and a camera put through my nose and down into my throat. None of them have been able to say "yep this is your problem" and only a few have offered up a "well it could be this" to me. It's pretty frustrating to KNOW that something isnt right but not be able to find anything. Only thing that gives me any real comfort is I figure if it was some form of cancer I would be dead by now.

Oh and to answer your question we deserve to be able to live our lives without having to worry about being tortured and killed by another random citizen. It's a big catch 22

Didn't we already cover that it was his body's physiological response to what was going on and that he was unaware that it was happening. Have you ever seen say a knee replacement surgery take place, to watch it on a video it a pretty traumatic experience but you the person getting the surgery is unaware of all the sawing, hammering, pushing, pulling, and prodding going on. If they want to sue because they were traumatized by watching it OK they shouldn't have watched it but to sue because he was traumatized is ridiculous.

Ugh my wife and step daughter are the same way.

Trying to judge interest in a couple of guns

In the pic of the left side of the Kimber under the slide stop it looks like the gun is scratched, it is not scratched the flash is just making it look that way. Also I dont really keep track of how many rounds I fire but given how infrequently I go to the range I would say the M&P has around 500 through it and the kimber has maybe 7-800 through it. The M&P was purchased through Dale at Delta Epsilon and the Kimber is from Vances. -
Yeah but that costs a lot of money and takes up space that could be used to imprison some hippie caught with a joint ;-)

Its not a deterrent its a punishment.

Well if you like old shows including old military training films, civil defence films, and educational videos try "Pub-D-Hub" you have to subscribe for all the content but it's literally like $2 a year. Some of the films are actually educational others are pure wtf and good for a laugh. Other than that the typical amazon prime, hulu, Netflix.

Copperhead thanks for moving this to the right section. I took a look at my ammo situation last night and I must have shot all of my hollowpoint 9mm stuff but the Kimber will come with: 135 rounds Winchester ball ammo 50 rounds Speer LE Gold Dot hollow points 20 rounds Federal Hydro shock hollow points -
So I'm thinking of selling a couple of my guns just because I never have a chance to shoot anymore and I just dont really enjoy shooting handguns as much as my long guns. I can get pictures of these guns if the interest is there. 1st gun is a Smith & Wesson M&P pro series 9mm. It's a full size M&P and other than the night sights and the words "PRO Series" etched in the side I'm not really sure what all the pro series consists of. I purchased it from Dale at Delta Epsilon and I've probably put 200 rounds through it. Comes with some self defense ammo (hollow points have to get back with you on what brand they are) and a leather holster I'm looking to get around $530 out of it. The M&P: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/IMG_0061.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/IMG_0067.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/IMG_0069.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/IMG_0070.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/IMG_0071.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/buelligan/IMG_0072.jpg

Great a bunch of rain and then a deep freeze that should make the Monday morning commute interesting.

And I'm with him I don't think that those leaves should have caused a problem either.
