  1. Doesn't look that bad... If there isn't any frame damage (or just a little), it should be fixable. If it is, then her insurance will cover it and you're good to go. If they do total it, you can buy it back and try to get it fixed for the money you got. Might cost more than the 'value' of the car, but the insurance co will kick a little extra for 'pain and suffering' almost automatically, so hopefully that is the extra $$ needed to repair the car (or to pay off the loan). Start looking for comparable cars for sale on ebay and traderonline (or any other place listing a car like that one). Look on KBB and Edmunds and get the market value established for that car in that condition. Book value can be way high or low depending on the specific car. Do your homework and be prepared with documentation to backup what you want to see for the car. Crappy situation - glad everyone is OK. Good luck to you and your brother!
  2. I was shocked at how good (better than I remember) the track was at the fun day I did in April. Track is smoother than Indy (O'Riley Raceway Park) road course... I'm planning to go back for a race weekend the first part of 09.
  3. I thought that was you. I'm not really 'on this board'. Just lurk here and try to contribute to the real racing threads. I'm trying to get more involved if I can here. Never hurts to contribute to another local community. I don't see eye to eye with some of the comments/members, but will bring what I can to the conversation. BTW - I like the website! Didn't know that is what you did... It will come in handy knowing that!
  4. I was at a few at Mid-Ohio and they all were what I'd call well attended. Is 30-35 cars on a 2.4 mile track too many per session? I know for racing, 50+ can get a bit 'fun' with traffic at race-pace. But the 30-35 per session seemed OK to me. For the most part, everyone took it easy and had a blast. I had a friend there (twice) doing it in his GTO and he had a great time. Since it is a track day, no one should be pushing hard at all, so the amount of cars on track shouldn't be too big of an issue. If you get stuck behind someone too slow - pull thru the pits and 're-set' yourself a bit behind them. If you catch them again - repeat.
  5. http://www.greatlakes-scca.org/system/files/2009+Club+Racing+Schedule+Rev+C_0.pdf "OTHER EVENTS" column and look for PDX. Open track days with the SCCA at Mid-Ohio and Bluegrass. Great way to get on a race track with your street car. Instructor provided and a safe environment to learn in. Not cheap, but worth it. http://www.greatlakes-scca.org/
  6. oops - wrong forum - i suck at the internet! (thanks for moving this)
  7. 1994 Honda Magna 750. 15,xxx miles. I'm the 2nd owner and have owned this bike for Two years. I've put about 300 miles on it since getting it. I LOVE this bike, but I have no time to ride. Hasn't been out this year... Bike is in great condition except that it was dropped on the right side. This got it a few scratches in the tank with a small dent (see picture) and cracked the outer tach case at the bottom. (Tach still works fine) There are a few small scratches, but the bike shows very well and is a joy to ride! Since I haven't used it this year, I'll say it needs the carbs cleaned. The bike is located in Pickerington. Asking $2,900.00 obo Consider partial trades... Pics are too big... 11. I lease my Suburban and I'll lease the next one! I tow with mine. I'll use it up and turn it in. I've done it before and I'll keep doing it. The payment on a new Suburban is more than I want to pay for a vehicle. I can lease it for less and always have a great tow vehicle!
  12. Still got it? Will you sell just the couch? Let me know. Matt
