Kinda stoked, A guy at work bought a blown up 2007 S2000 and swapped a 08 motor into it that he got off e-bay. H asked ne to come over and tear the old motor down to see WTF went wrong. Should be fun, if i rememeber to take my camera i'll try to post a pic or 2. from what i know so far there are a couple pices of aluminum and coolant in the cat so abviously we are missing a exhaust valve or 2 LOL.

anywhere near stock, i'm pretty sure he's not running 31" drag slicks. even 2.73 gear is around 2300-ish in 4th at 65. if the speedo isn't right, he should just jack the thing up and count driveshaft rotaions:wheel rotaion. one edit, shouldnt' u be working

not with 2k in 4th, 3.73 would be spinning about 2100-2200 in 5th with a t-5 tranny you should be able to drive about 58 mph in 3rd gear and the RPM will equal your gear ratio.

the 2v is easily a mid-high 12 sec car. it's a 31-spline upgrade and an NX kit away from 11's. Deep down i know i really shouldn't, it has more sentimental value. I probibly knew i should pass on it but i guess i needed to bounce it off someone anyway. most likely will hold off for a cobra though. Or cobra powered crown vic police interceptor.

nah with 2.73/3.08 gears in a mustang that only makes power to 5K you are decideing do i shift or not at the line. anythign 3.55-4.30 you are into 4th gear before the stripe. 4.10 would be the best gear for you BTW
