So I was in the Terrain park today at Winter Park. I saw an Ipod ditting at the lip of a jump to a rail. It was a brand new 20g. I stopped, picked it up, and gave it to one of my buddies that works for park crew. About twenty minutes later some guy walked up to me and says that a park crew guy pointed me out as the person that turned it in. He says, "Well, I can't give you this Ipod, but here is $300, I think you can get one of these for that price." Score. /usless story of the day

All i have seen is articls, and read about it. Anyone have any first hand experieance with this bike, anyone ridden one? Pro's Cons?

People will argue me, but i think a eirly 2000's 600 is great for starting on, you will outgrow a 250 fast, esspecially when civics start getting bus lengths on you :-P 500's you will still outgrown fast, just not as fast. id say keep saving, get a used 600, you will deffinatly hold onto it longer. I have had mine going on 2 years and still am not sick of it. I will probobly trade in next summer for another newer 6r

It's not to hard of a job, just keep track of your shit. I would say do it yourself if you have the tools. Time is never an issue, there is always a few hours in the day you do nothing.

I use Farmers. My dad has insurance through them as well and its a multi-car + our Truck and 40ft stacker trailer. They also have no problem insuring sport bikes for a decent rate. Farmers, not state farm.

If you are looking for just a drivetrain, I would suggest trying to find that alone off a newer bike, so your not paying for a whole bike for just donner parts. I wouldn't know where o start looking, but i am sure you can find a lone drive train someplace.
