  1. Looking for a solid sbc for the nova. Anyone selling a complete setup on here? If so, lemme know whatcha got! Even if it's not complete, I may still be interested.
  2. Indeed. . . the guy screwed me pretty good. I got a 20 footer at best, and not even a good one. Tons of flaws and skipped work (very little buffing, uneven stripes, skipped door jam clear, sloppy blocking, etc). Looked great when I checked on the progress in his shop, then again his shop only had 1 light on and it did look good in the dark, lol. When I got it home and looked it over, it was easy to tell I had been taken. Really wanna do something about it, don't think I can a this point.
  3. Work-a-holic on the nova today. Good shit. You sure you want me coming up, you've already had a long day. As I want to bring you more things to do, LOL. Good times.
  4. I was thinking of doin that actually, fo sho. So wtf, can I come up and feel like a little kid on christmas, until I get i on the highway and realize the mustang I'm dropping off is faster.
  5. I don't actually think it's a q-jet. . just a 1407
  6. So is this drivable for a buyer, or does it need towed? Looks fairly clean too!
  7. That may be my top speed. Go go gadget 750 cfm performer carb on a 307. LoL
  8. Those fenders look a little off buddy. Good times. I'm gnona go up to Rob's to pick up the nova in a bit. Then gonna proceed to drive it back here. We'll see how it goes =) I'm sure Rob did an awesome job tho.
  9. Thats amazing i was even able to drive it at all. Definitely need to warn people aboit that guy. I appreciate all your hard work tho, and hope to be cruisin soon!
  10. I assume he didn't pick up on the sarcasm. But look at this sweet super fast high performance chevrolet 307!!!! rofl http://i742.photobucket.com/albums/xx69/slimpsy/enginebay.jpg
  11. lol, good times Rob must be diligently working on the nova, as I haven't heard back from him. . . or using it as his new ramp toy out back, rofl.
  12. Yeah, if you have that much. . . seems fair man. Let's make it ws6 and an even 9K for Nova. Done!
  13. We have lift off, Rob picked her up a sec ago. THANKS BROTHA!
  14. Rob is supposed to be coming and haulin it up to his shop tonight and gettin the motor all ship shape for me. Thanks for that offer tho Matt, good shit bro!
  15. If you got a high mileage car that's always ran conventional oil, I would not recommend switching over to a fully synethic oil. . but perhaps a high mileage blend. synthetic lubricants offer several benefits over regulars : 1. less engine damage at startup 2.less variation in lubrication properties of the oil over temperature variations. 3.more detergent to keep engine clean. However in older engines, some burning may occur,if the valve seals are corroded. The detergent in the synthetic oil will remove the sludge and get leaked. Other than that, it will be beneficial to your cars engine to use a synethic blended oil :-D And I agree on the seafoam stuff, would not trust it.
  16. Ok, no sparky now. Rob is gonna handle this for me. Yay!
  17. Popped out a plug, it's covered in oil and gas. . . good times. Probably the issue. The side I pulled it from, the valve cover is leaking oil.
  18. I'll take out a plug again and see. Probably doesn't help that the distributor bolt was never really all the way tightened. Good times.
