  1. Yes, my father has a 97 c5. I drove it a couple times. . my head is just very buried in the top and not a very comfortable fit. I'm 6'4" and 350. . so I got quite a bit on your buddy, which is why I drive a truck.
  2. Man, too bad I'm 6'4" and obese or I'd be all over it, lol.
  3. I thought so. . I even found the piston to go with her! I just needed it out of my garage. . . I have so much stuff to go through after moving. It's just one less thing in my way now.
  4. Sold to Chad this morning! Nice meeting ya and hope you enjoy the bike! -Bill
  5. Waitin for the wife to see what we're doin tonight. But probably so. I'll let ya know, shoot me your number. ALSOOOO, I found front and rear wheel bearings new in package I was going to put on with the rebuild. They don't need them right now, but wouldn't hurt to throw them on. I'll include those too. That's another $40 in included parts.
  6. Added pics. . . I also put on the gas tank decal before I lost it. . so it has a new decal on it. Pics also show all the new plastic panels that come with it. I also have decals for them (brand new) that match the gas tank. The seat is in great condition with a nice cover on it as well. I put the top end back on and hand tightened everything as well as the carb. . just for easy transport for selling. Although the power valve side assembly I have in a ziploc bag and I have all bolts for panels in zip loc bag ready to rock! Exhaust is also shown in pics and is off, it is original exhaust and has a small dent in it, but works fine. Overall, as you can see. . . would make a good lookin bike once finished! Can't beat $350 either.
  7. Never tore down the bottom end, but it appears okay. I'm gonna take some pics here in a few of everything so you guys have a better idea of the whole package.
  8. I'm in no hurry or in a financial bind. If you wanna come check it out before committing, that's fine too. First come first serve tho. Too many deals fall through on taking word. No offense there, just the e-truth.
  9. Yes, I think I may have left the parts in my old garage is the dilemma. . in which case it's been completely cleaned out by the new renters. But I'll certainly drop it off for 350 bucks if you want it =)
  10. I'll take some pics during the day tomorrow and put em up. The old rear fender/radiator shrouds/side panels I threw away. . and the new ones are untouched and still in packaging. It would make a great cheap project for someone.
  11. Well it had been a couple years since it had been rebuilt, so I thought I'd play engine guru and do it. . . but yeah, it didn't happen.
  12. So I'm tired of this thing taking up space in my garage, so maybe someone wants to mess with it on here. It's a 93 yz250 2 stroke. . . right now the top end is off and needs rebuilt. . . I did have a top end rebuild kit including piston and gasket set but I just moved and can't seem to find it. So as of now it will need a piston and gasket set. Other than needing to be put back together. . . it's a fun bike. Tires and everything else are good on it. Have all new plastic for it that hasn't even been installed (radiator shrouds, rear fender, side panels). I also have a graphic kit for it that was like 50 bucks (vinyls) that go on all panels. The carb was also rebuilt prior to tear-down. I do not have a title for it, as it's been lost for years. . . but will provide a bill of sale. Bike ran good last year prior to being torn down. Asking $350 cash, will make a great parts bike if you don't want to rebuild it. . .not wanting to go much lower than that. I'll get pics up if anyone is really interested. Thanks! -Bill http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/108/l_bb1e6da6abb4469eae27712217f6c104.jpg New plastic panels including radiator shrouds, side number panels, and rear fender! $100 value alone! http://c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/96/l_e153c14061a049459d7cd4e7facd81a1.jpg http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/73/l_cb9b8b4d0bee4feda15427a2e4025f02.jpg
  13. Hope things start looking up on the family health spectrum my man. My thoughts and prayers are with ya buddy!
  14. Touche my man. Thanks tho I take it business is doing well? That's great!
  15. It's not that it's hard. It's just I want to make sure it's done right, the carb is adjusted once reassembled, and the power valve assembly is properly put on. I seriously don't know what I'm doing. I don't turn wrenches
  16. Did I mention pizza and cold beer. . and I should have all necessary tools??? =)
  17. They want to charge me 500. Not that it wouldn't be worth it. But the bike is old anyway and it's just a once in a while kinda thing to ride it.
  18. Soooo..over the winter I tore off the top end of my 93 yz250 2 stroke to replace piston and do a top-end rebuild. Well, I never really got around to putting it back together. And to be honest I don't know what I'm doing anyway. I got a top end gasket set and a new piston/bearing/ring set. It's just sitting in my garage looking very sad, with all the plastic off and the jug off and carb/exhaust off. Does anyone want to come to Lancaster and help me (also known as putting it back together while I watch and talk to you, lol)?? I will provide some pizza/beer and compensate you for your time/expertise. Lemme know! I'd like to get this thing runnin before summer is over. Thanks!
  19. Wanting to take my wife out to a nice dinner tonight, as the little one will be with grandparents. We normally go to J. Alexander's and love their food. . . but I wanted to step it up a notch. . . if it was worth it. Is Morton's worth the pricetag? How's their enviroment? Is it yuppy central or can the casual average Joe feel comfortable dining there? Thanks in advance. . . other suggestions would be appreciated as well!
