  1. And Hillary Clinton looks like she just released a fire ball into the crowd. Otherwise, Good find!
  2. Here's an example of a well-priced Sentra: http://www.mautofied.com/2004-Nissan-Sentra-SE-R-Spec-V_Import/listing/100271290/ Yes, I realize it is in GA. I was just posting to show you a price range.
  3. Used to be able to. Can be done, but lots harder these days. Look for Delton or Double Star stuff.
  4. Indeed, if you want to involve yourself in that type of situation they will say you shouldn't have a gun and try to make you an instigator, etc. It is better to have carved a fool up than have shot him or shot at him.
  5. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/dyno.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/vr4new11.jpg
  6. Dyno'd to 579 AWHP on a 50 shot and 19 psi I believe.
  7. But the preface was blocks away.... That's a lot different. If I felt my safety was in danger there would be a whole different set of rules.
  8. Sentra SE-R Spec V can be found in this price range, too. I don't know the comparisons but I drove an SVT focus and was not impressed. It was smooth, but I didn't like it much at all. I daily an older sentra se-r right now because I can... I have other cars to drive, but I thoroughly enjoy that Nissan. You probably could find a used Celica, too. I don't know if you're a domestic or import or if it even matters.
  9. 90k miles All the internals have just been replaced: (crank, pistons, rings, rods and had the block line honed.) It has like 80 miles on it since the rebuild. 5 speed MODS: dynamic racing dr 650 turbos hks ssqv bov dejon intake and pipe msd ignition and plug wires apexi safc II controller blitz sbc boost controller 650cc injectors It has been tuned with the data logger and a lap top but it is still running a little rich. Its on 8psi right now, but after 500 miles (break-in) have been put on it I figured I would get it tuned between 18-21psi. I will call IPS later today or tomorrow.
  10. LOL! The M1A is a man's rifle and should be shot accordingly. If you don't like the recoil of an M1A, you really don't have any business shooting a 308 round. The PTR isn't much lighter and I would sure like to play a trick on you with a FAL.
  11. Looking for information on tuning it. Prices, etc. I can post up the details of the mods or you can PM me. Thanks!
  12. I PM'd him a few mins ago and just tried again. His inbox is full.
  13. Damnit! I have been wanting to get out to one of these since it has started, but my work schedule keeps holding me back. I've got all my Saturdays packed up the next couple weeks with auction removals from work. I might be able to swing by this weekend since it's so early. If not I will make something work the following weekend.
  14. Well, in a perfect world it would be an easy decision. In a perfect we wouldn't need guns, or wait in my perfect world.... I digress, in this world and in this administration the soldiers are already labeled loose canons. Remember that? Yeah, and Franklin Co is out to chew any one who uses a firearm up. Really, it's pretty bad. If you're in the wrong, they will make you look worse than two men in bed. If you're right they'll make you look wrong. There are no percentages in it, so you really only should be pulling if you are going to use it. Hope to hell you can GTFO in a hurry, or make sure it looks like there way literally no other option. Period. And any good prosecutor can and will make a Swiss Army knife sound like a lethal weapon. Imagine what they will say about a firearm. I am not saying that you shouldn't do what you have to do, but for fuck's sake use prudence and use it well! A home invasion is a lot different than a street fight. Prosecutor wants to know why you didn't run.
  15. Never try to be a hero. Been there done that and got the f out because I thought about the possible charges. It's not a good idea unless you're directly threatened, or someone who is dear to you. It sucks, but you can get into serious trouble. Especially once they realize your back ground. It's just best to stay low.
  16. I am no help, but I will see if my GF can do something for you in the next couple days. She needs to do some for me anyway.
  17. This is my choice as well, after the M1A. I am just not huge on the HK. It's a good gun, but just not for me.
  18. You are welcome, I am always happy to help clarify that myth. Now if we were going for more nefarious reasons, I would suggest a lighter bullet-- esp when the opposition might have something that needs penetrated. However, for house and home I always choose heavy. [A lighter (GR) bullet will penetrate 20-200% better than a heavier (GR) bullet.] If it were me and I was using an XD for HD, I would get some 180 - 200GR's and call it a day. Make sure you fire some because they will shoot differently than your lighter ones. 135-155's usually are 1-2" high at 21ft than the heavier 160+ to 185gr. While they are only inches I am describing here, I have seen variances of 5 to 6" depending on the gun, etc. Some barrels like different weights. Just make sure you know what's going on with your gun!
  19. Super low flash-point, too. Think night blindness and being able to see after your first shot.
  20. Critical Defense is my first choice for personal defense for most all situations. They should be coming out with a 200GR 40S&W soon if they haven't already. Accurate, Deadly, Dependable. Still penetrate hard, but break off do what is necessary. I wouldn't volunteer to be a victim of that stuff. Watch some videos, I am sure you will find it to your liking.
  21. What? Show me where I have 15" on my body for penetration to occur. Your average lethal knife wound is 2" and your average fatal gun shot wound is 6-8". It is highly unlikely that a 45ACP is going to penetrate anything 15". It was not designed for penetrations, unless we start talking about 117GR Aguila IQ. 230GRs are designed for knockdown power.
  22. I always use a HIGHER grain bullet for defense, unless there is a specific reason not to. In a home my rule is to always use the heavier bullet so wall penetration is less likely-- walls will crumble, but you don't want the bullet to leave the outside of your foundation.
  23. JLD knows how to make a rifle, it's improved over the HK variant. I sold a lot of them and only ever saw issues out of junk ammo. I only ever saw one flat failure and I know it was due to user ignorance. This was out of 60-75 that I ever laid hands on. Damn good rifle, I would have one I just chose M1a's instead.
  24. Indeed... Even prior to that I was "Ryno". Some boards required screen names longer than four characters, so I choose cinergi. I figured your name had some reference to DnD.
