Well, I highly suggest you re-consider the not wearing the belt idea. You better think that over long and hard. What gun will you be carrying? I don't know a lot, but I can probably help you out a bit. This is true, you won't find the right holster immediate--especially right away. I rarely don't wear a belt, unless I've got a pocket gun or three on me. I can't tell you how many Fobus holsters I have personally broken, or seen broken over the years. I am not overly hard on any of my equipment, either.

I have found http://www.unlockr.com/forum to be the most helpful website out there to do rooting if you want to run any ROM which requires a radio or hardSPL upgrade. They have some great videos, too. When I get the chance I will be changing over from Cyanogen to Hero. Their one click rooting is different from all the other ones out there and they REALLY simplify the process.

I have DRC83 (Donut 1.6) and I really haven't figured out how to root it... I looked in the past and never went to the extreme to find it.

Where are you getting the rom updates from? I want to try Hero, what source is best? Also does anyone have any updates for the Sprint Nav ap? The one I have installed keeps telling mme I need to contact Sprint. I loved that ap for Nav and hadn't found anything nearly as good.

The only gun I like better than the Browning is the Weatherby and even then the Browning is only a close second. Great choice for the money. I thought the new Remington was a joke when I played with it, but give it a few years and they will perfect it. Remington rarely gets things right in the first production model with their shotguns. Their bolts are a completely different story. I digress, again... Excellent choice!

It's a pretty good gun for what it is. Never fit my hand quite right, but it shoots exceptionally well in spite of this. I know a guy who can do those NS very well. The older XDs were quite problematic and Gander even broke a few slides because they didn't understand the dis-assembly. He used to work at NASR awhile back.

I have the same sentiments. I feel the same about Andy, one of the last good guys from the original OH gun crew that could have owned the nation with its knowledge base.

I agree with this statement... Though I did once lose a nice Benchmade in someone's chest at Vance's a couple of years ago. I didn't go back much after that.
