    Temper...

Hal, you're smarter than that. If you REALLY can't control your temper better than that, perhaps you should rethink being a gun owner. You're making the legit ones look bad. Does anyone condone the Alabama professor for snapping? I'm sure there was a straw on her camel's back as well. If the thought even crosses your mind to bring a gun into a situation like that, you need to rethink some things, no matter how mad you may be. I also don't know the situation completely, so I'm just going off what's posted here. I'm also going to play the Devil's advocate and ask, could the plow guy really control where the snow's going? If he's traveling parallel to your sidewalk, it's not like he can control the snow that's flying out the side. Those guys have a hard enough job in conditions like this. I try to cut them some serious slack. 1000% this. There was no reason for the gun to have been in this scenario.... Unless you just aren't telling us something.

    Temper...

Get rid of your guns and buy something less political. You'd of gotten all of your stuff taken away had your wife not intervened. Keep an axe, machete, etc for situations like this. No need to ever bring a gun to a fight that didn't even start. If you wanted to escalate it some, you should have just slapped him in the face.
  3. Congrats man, good setup. I've got 2 very similar setups.
  4. Heritage and Browning are my favorites, but then again I don't buy mine for fires. I buy them because they are hard to get into.
  5. Awaiting more details, but very strong interest in everything you have said thus far...
  6. No such thing truly exists, but Browning is a great safe. You almost have to have one custom made if you truly want a fireproof safe. The problem is you need a safe that's fire-proof. Fire departments will always run into a house and spray a safe if they see it, as if it is a ticking time bomb. Because of this you are much more likely to have water damage than have your guns melt inside.
  7. I will check that out. I think I've seen similiar ones in the stores, but they were a "cushy" material. He chews through the tire-bound toys.
  8. Mine's a boxer / lab mix. I don't mind replacing toys every three to six months, but every couple days is getting really old.
  9. I meant to take pictures of the last one he destroyed. I believe it was the medium-large size. Took him about 5 days before he got to work on it. He's pretty tenacious.
  10. I'm interested in seeing what other dog owners give their dogs who are considered "powerful chewers". I can't seem to find a single toy that my dog won't destroy in short notice. Seems like years ago when I had Pits that there were better heavy duty toys--or maybe I am just not educated enough yet. Post what your dogs favorites are. Note: My dog isn't the least bit destructive to anything other than his toys.
  11. Nice! I loved it when I shot it. I just picked up another one recently or I would have been on this.
  12. Let's just say Para's do not work in general. A rep went out to BWSC once and EVERY SINGLE ONE of his *13* hand guns FAILED with very little use.
  13. This is would have violated my threshold.
  14. This is exactly what I was thinking. I am fairly level-headed, but once something is elevated past a threshold I'm not going to play anymore. A v6 or un-skillful driver. Too bad it didn't happen on a day like today, huh?
  15. I might have to look into this build.. I know where a 2.2 and a 2.5 are laying around. What did you do with your old turbo?
  16. Glock 36, HK 45c are my two favorite EDCs.
  17. Nice gun, but quite a lot of money for the quality. I've taken quite a few down and haven't been super impressed considering the price tag. There are definitely much better values. You might want to consider a very nice Rock River for that money. The TRP is nice, but isn't not quite as custom as I think it should be for the money. I think the Dan Wesson and Sig GSR's are still right in that price range too.
  18. Yeah, you probably thought it was going to be a gun or firearm based, but it's a bike. I thought it was pretty brilliant myself: http://www.magpulronin.com/
  19. Lasermax is the best way to f up a good gun. If you want a laser go rail, or laser grips, don't mess with the internal guide rod. Factory knows best and aftermarket shit just doesn't work right.
  20. It depends on the need. I daily carry a variety of knives. I really like Spyderco, Benchmade and SOG for every day duty beat-the-hell-out-of and still keep going. I abuse my knives worse than anyone you know just to make sure they aren't going to fail when I need them. CRKT is good for a budget knife, but I don't recommend going any cheaper.
  21. What purpose are you looking to serve with it? I have a few different kinds, but I need more info to help you make your decision... serrated, blade length, steel requirements, etc.
  22. My mother used one when they first came out and it worked very well for her, except for the fact that she got rashes even with the hypo-allergenic tapes. Other than that she was pretty pleased with it. I am sure with all the new updates out there with technology that they are even better.

    FN five seven

No, I dont have collections of decorate ammo. lol I never like the 5.7 much as I always found it to be more of a joke round, but got this stuff on trade a long time ago and always forget about it until someone mentions five seven. I need to put it up on an auction site and call it a day. At one point it was bringing more than $400 a box. I am sure the price is less than half that now. Never underestimate the usage of steel-core ammo.
