    Nexus One

I saw that. I will wait a bit and then get one. It looks amazing!
  3. They won't be out for sometime--that was a sneak-peak video. Think May / June as an early ship date. I'll have one, Remington's barrels are unbelievably accurate.
  4. I've worked at both places, if you have specific questions beyond what you had before send me a PM.
  5. I've owned a few. Did a lot to one of them, then decided I liked it stock better. After all it is only a 22. Got bored with it for the same reason, so I parted ways with them. Neat gun, just didn't hold my attention for a long time.
  6. Might have a few at work... Get me the details.

Well, I have heard her mentality before many times. The way around this is to make her very aware of VIOLENT crime in her area and give her this little known, but TRUE FBI stat: One in four people in the US will be or will know a victim of violent crime. Chances are it would not persuade her, but it is worth the chance. If you can make her vividly imagine it without pissing her off, it just might work. Worked 80% of the time for me in sales. It really sucks that you might lose some money because of a liberal's attitude, but the other side of this coin is that someone will be very willing to buy a new gun off of a private individual and save a few bucks in the process. If you think of it from the gun retailer's viewpoint-- how can they prove something nefarious didn't happen with the gun while it was not in their possession? Even though it wasn't "used" it was still pre-owned. It's a lot like titling a car and never driving it--it still has a PO. Might be able to find a cheap beginner's class for the woman in question and get her excited about shooting some .22's.
  8. Yeah, it's between Columbus and Gahanna. (Easton, OH). I suggested they should, they didn't, but they did get the blood sample with the finger print... So maybe they will do bloodwork once it gets back to the lab. I doubt it, though.
  9. Not only did they only get a few dollars in parts out of my car other than the CompUstar I had in the trunk they bled all over the car. Missed lots of goodies and knives I had, including two check books. (Yes I checked no missing checks.) Bent the passenger's door up trying to get in and chipped the window slightly, broke a trim piece between the driver's window and rear window. Took the radio away from the dash without incident, though. I don't know why the car alarm never went off? When I filed the report they said that there were several other reports in the area. The fool bled on some paper in my car and left a nice print behind. Apparently almost bled out in another car in the area and left prints there, too. It's a shame I didn't get to catch this occurring... Merry Christmas everyone! Stay safe!

Perfect gun to add a toy to, if you like that sort of thing.
  11. The auction house claims $3 million dollars was spent in developing the carbon fiber panel, honeycomb aluminum chassis, 720hp quad-turbo V12 supercar. http://twoseatsorless.com/2009/12/up-for-auction-1995-ford-gt90-concept-car/ I found this interesting.
  12. Glad to hear the process is working as it should!
  13. This or iwsti.com .... you can find quite a few sites out there, esp for the money I see everyone talking about in here. I have seen better pricing, just not right now with winter in full swing.
  14. Jason, I would call around to some of the refurb places and see what they would sell it to you for or see if they'd be kind enough to link you to a wholesale place.
  15. This was my thoughts as well. Plus I haven't heard much good out of Denny.

    FFL License

I recommend Hartfield Enterprises for FFL transfers.
  17. I am not quite sure you know enough yet to recommend anything to. What is your end of the day goal on it? I see a budget, but what options do you really desire?

They make it harder and harder. You at a minimum really need a storefront any more. There are ways around this, but these are not the easiest things in the world to get. I thought about it years ago, but never wanted the additional scrutiny that they put on you. I like my privacy, I guess. If it's what you want, go for it--just know you are under a microscope and need to keep fairly detailed records. Collector/Curio license isn't quite what you need for modern firearm stuff. It's limiting. If you look on ATF.gov I am sure you can find a lot more details. If you want some phone numbers, I am sure I can dig some up for you, too.
  19. Time to find your sales rep and send him a brown bag!
  20. It was from 20-30% of the 864 people + per year that BWSC ran through their CCW class. 18 per class at least 4 classes per month is where I come up with that figure. (BWSC usually ran 6 classes per month while I was there so the figure was probably more, but I come up with 172 people out of that figure.) I just always told people to go to Franklin and heard little problems out of there. I can say that the majority of the people who took their CHL from BWSC were not nearly as ignorant as the students I had in classroom at NASR. It is true that Delaware in much more CHL friendly than Franklin overall, though. *edit* The biggest complaints I recall were over the 45 day limit.
  21. When I got mine in Franklin County way back when it took less than 6 hours. I knew at that point they hadn't done a complete background check based on that time-line. I heard nothing but horror stories coming from people who got their CCW permits in Delaware after taking classes at BWSC. I was hoping they would get that turned around.
  22. Kramer, Galco or Desantis. I got rid of my LCP ages ago, but I liked the Desantis one when it was released.
  23. I always just changed the grip angle myself on my target glocks--I liked the look, but most people didn't... I had a 29 that I did the same thing to.
