I wouldn't rely on them for all out bet-your-life-on-it reliability. They have not been as good as stock mags, but if you label them separately as shooter mags as opposed to SD mags you will be good to go. (I witnessed a couple fail in classroom activities, and I had a 40s&w mag from them that failed to perform flawlessly.)

Modification is your only route. My suggestion would be to find another junker if you can, though. Those aren't quite collectible, but they are getting harder to find. IF you want to professionally modify it, pm me. I know just the guy to do it and he's awfully cheap for his services.

Her knowledge of gun laws IS vast, but again I cannot give her kudos for her instruction abilities. She was so dangerous at one point at NASR that we had to make her leave. She then was found at Black Wing. Hopefully things have changed for her, as this was 4-5 years ago.

I have to call a huge NEGATIVE on this one. I've never met a more unprofessional, or untrained teacher. I used to try to help her out when she first got her NRA instructor's license. She had awful problems trying to help beginning shooters overcome fears and get them on the fast track to proper fundamentals. She is a nice lady, but I don't know how she makes it as an instructor...

Wouldn't ever have to worry about cleaning the dust off of the blades, either.

I vote for the wrx, but I am a little biased. I have owned 3 and all have been great. I'll get an STi one of these days if I come across the right one. But it's low on the priority list at the moment. I think the WRX platform is terrific for the driving I do which is about 90% highway and 10% city. It works very well for me in the changing climates here, too. I am not saying the WRX is the best car ever, but I can tell you I have no complaints out of the ones I have owned over the years for what I've been doing with them.
