    ATF info...

ATF is quite touchy about who posts what...
  2. Who can do mine for me? My #$%^ing text messaging is way too slow and it's always locking up lately. If someone has a good walk through for the Sprint Mogul, I'd love you!

    ATF info...

Probably shouldn't, but I thought I would share... U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Assistant Director Washington, DC 20226 January 6, 2009 Notice to All Federal Firearms Licensees Regarding ATF Form 4473 Shortage As a result of an unprecedented increase in demand for ATF Forms 4473 (5300.9) Part I Revised August 2008, inventory of the form at the ATF Distribution Center is running low. As a temporary measure, ATF is allowing FFLs to photocopy the form 4473 in it’s entirety until they receive their orders from the ATF Distribution Center. A notice will be posted at the expiration of this temporary authorized change.
  4. This is a good reason not to trust the police... use them for bullet sponges. I am not claiming all of them, but this is just ignorant!! http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/bkwdsjpg.jpg
  5. That's why I wanted them to match my 12 lower's I have from them.
  6. I used to think the world of RRA until I owned one. Not the worst company out there, but definitely not worth the money IMO. And, like you say... They don't have any clue about manufacturing on a deadline. A lot of the time they don't even meet the DOD's deadline.
  7. It was the Stag, I am positive of it. That is seriously a lot of money for it. I've seen them sell for up to 580 with the Samson on it, but never higher... even at "local" retail stores! Sometimes the internet isn't always the cheapest place to get things, especially right now. Hell, I didn't even pay 600 for one of my Wilson uppers with quad rail two years ago.
  8. Great! I think you'll find a liking to the Sig as well.
  9. NP3 is one of my favorite finishes along with Tripp hard chrome--or the right piece of course... However many will find it's not quite "economical" for their budgets. I am sorry to say that HK's "Hostile Environment" finish doesn't hold up to every day usage the way it should.
  10. One will most definitely outlast the other. The good news is most would never pick that one.
  11. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/th_DSC00399.jpg That would be me.
  12. That's a LOT of money for that upper. We sold those for 475 not too long ago in the same config. I have not been a fan of Stag barrels personally.
  13. No, FFL transfers are a pain in the ass and the owner would rather not do them. Our fee is $50. It's a lot more work and liability than you would suspect. Nice choice, though.
  14. PM me. I know someone who has one for sale. I'll give you his contact info.
  15. A nice pick, enjoy it! Thanks for coming up!
  16. Coonan and a S&W model 52 will both accept 38 SPL. A 686 is a fabulous choice and a timeless classic! With little work they can be one of the most accurate handguns currently available.
  17. I have what I want off of the list, do you?
  18. I have three or four P229 40s&w mags and three 10rd mags. I'll take $25 each, or what do you have to trade? I also have 1, 13rd P229 9mm mag. Couple of boxes of 135gr powerball 10mm and several boxes of speer lawman 357 sig. (Don't recall gr, I will update later).
  19. Partsexpress should have a diy kit... here are search results for "repair": http://www.parts-express.com/wizards/searchResults.cfm?searchFilter=repair&FTR=&search_type=main&WebPage_ID=3
  20. HAve you seen the prices of the 342PD? If you don't like the prices of the 340/360PD, you're certainly not going to like what I'd ask for that one. Right now I am not really selling anything that I use, only stuff I need to upgrade so I will use it or excess.
  21. I love mine, but most people won't do 308 these days.
