  1. Hell yes. People have had half their lives to prepare for this, but most didn't even start to think it out.
  2. Have you read the specs on the new DPX round for it?
  3. I admit the gun is tempting for many reasons, the end of the world not one of them. However out of the seven I've sold five have gone back to the factory with less than five cylinders through them. Hell, one's been gone over four months now.
  4. I can do them up... I think I'd be between the M1a or the FAL. Whichever I had the most mags laying around for at any given point. Handgun would be one of the various Wilsons or the 21SF with the 30 rounders. Mike---I've never seen issue one out of a Wilson as far as breakage from abusive shooting. (I have seen them break from people doing stupid shit to them, but only twice through rental/ccw class conditions.) I cannot say that about Ed Brown, Les Baer or even Kimber. I'd have to say I've seen the most failures out of Kimber and they're not even a true custom company anymore.
  5. People are doing this stuff to themselves. I always knew it would come to this.
  6. I can't believe what that horse did to me last night.
  7. I'd call that 100% camo coverage, but the magtube. lol This shotgun is well worth the money, especially if you want to use it like an oar.
  8. The more I see this thing the more faggy it is. I think the creator of it was on meth or crack or angel dust when he came up with that.
  9. No, we don't have any semi-tens in stock. I don't think we've ever had one.
  10. You can find used semi's cheaper than that... maybe 600ish, but it's going to be a caliber change for you...
  11. Galco makes EXCELLENT stuff, but it's pricey. I've loved every piece I have had from them.
  12. I was happy with mine until it broke stiches ad they wouldn't warranty it. It happened two weeks after I got it. I sent it back and they said I'd been abusive with it. They sent it back untouched so I went to a local saddlemaker and it's been fine since.

Yup. Put a nice trigger job on her and it'll do... I believe it's a six... The four's went away quickly. Smith told us they "found" a few in the vault. Funny how they have a locks on them. It is definitely a cult classic.
  14. And I do not believe Remington in all of their infinite wisdom will be picking it back up, either... Damn shame.

    We still have a 610, 6"... 40 Short & Weak or 10mm Norma capable.

People argue with me, but I prefer the bolt and the recoil it brought upon me than the semi. But what do I know...

I like Bell Charter Oaks, Don Hume and Mitch for most of my revolver stuff. I'm not so picky about my semi-autos.

Hotcarl, I usually have Saturdays off and work on Sundays instead. Thanks for trying, though. My 342PD weighs in at 11.7 oz-- I know what the stats say it is, but that's what she weighed empty on two different scales. She's not black, but she is lightweight! I will say when I was doing more 357 shooting, I was using a some wooden grips I made. They were a lot slicker coming out of the pocket and absorbed some of the recoil. I also have a MP340PD and a MP360PD and those are a bit more on the hefty side and do not recoil quite as much. The light weight revolvers are definitely for the warriors who don't mind a little bite when sending some thunder love to the chosen target(s).

Usually Magnum 158gr's. I don't shoot it nearly as much as I used to, which was close to three boxes a week through it....

Actually, I thoroughly enjoy shooting mine. Most people would say it's something akin to taking an aluminum baseball bat to a mailbox at close to 60mph with fullhouse .357s in it, but it never really bothered me after the first few times I shot it. The way I see it, the other party will certainly feel it a lot more than I will if I ever have to use it.

I usually have two of these on or around me at any given time. This is my favorite carry gun that I've owned... and I've had quite a damn few of them.

Bersa used to make JUNK. I mean Raven/Lorsen quality stuff years back. They really improved and now in my book they're an A+. I don't own one because I just never got into them, but if I only had chump change, I'd buy one. I consider them to be just as reliable as CZs, Glocks and AK47s. I don't normally give such ringing endorsements, but that Thunder 380 is hard to argue against, especially like Scott says... with the new Critical Defense ammo. I liked their nine model as well, but I have no experience with the 45. We have one at work, but it's the first one I have handled. I wouldn't see any reason for it to be anything less than the Thunder 380 line-up. I took it apart and closely checked fit and was impressed.
  23. LOL! This one's not so evil: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/DOGS/DSC_0053.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/DOGS/DSC_0015.jpg But this one is (not mine): http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/DOGS/CSC_0068.jpg (If he was human, he'd be Shaft.) This is the little guy that's in need of crate training: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/DOGS/DSC_0009.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/DOGS/CSC_0019.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/DOGS/CSC_0017.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/cinergi/DOGS/DSC_0006.jpg
