  3. From what I see of it thus far, I really like it. I haven't done anything other than a brief overview, though.
  4. This is absolutely correct. But I always tell people you have no business pulling out your gun unless you intend to use it. A gun is not designed to deter a situation, it is designed to end it. Anyone carrying a gun should be using it as a last line of defense. Any man should be able to defuse a situation without his gun. If he is just pulling a gun out with no intent to use it, he is a pussy and deserves for someone to shoot him. :bangbang: I believe in using an edged weapon, then people think you're really crazy.
  5. I just got an email about it: https://my.t-mobile.com/Promotions/Generaltemplate.aspx?Asset=Pro_Pro_G2&webOfferName=G2_Presale_Login_0910&WebLocationID=Login_G2
  6. I always told my students don't get involved in the shit if it's not friends or family.
  7. A man beating on a woman does not need a gun pulled on him. I'm saying the dude is a douche bag pussy and it could have been handled differently. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets enough attention that they'll see charges for having a gun around children or some other messed up charge. I have always felt you should not intervene in other peoples' issues unless you are directly affected. I am not saying what they did was wrong, as I am assuming most other people would have too, but open yourself up to legal attacks that are no fun to fight off. The situation could go both ways and the people drawing guns could have been attacked, too. You just never know what the other situation was or how it can play out. Remember that story years ago when that Taxi driver chased down that guy who stole the woman's purse and pinned the prep against the wall with the car. He got the piss sued out of him for trying to do the right thing. Shit sucks and there is no easy answer or solution for things like that. There's no true line that says what you can and cannot do, which leaves anything to be able to happen. I probably would have intervened myself, but my first reaction sure as hell would not have been my gun. Plenty of other tools could have been dispersed to re/solve that situation.
  8. So, thanks to kickass I have figured out I need an H box, but an M box will also work.
  9. Thanks, I immediately thought the same thing. However, I am not positive the S4 has a factory immobilizer. I did disconnect the aftermarket alarm to eliminate that issue. I thought for sure this was the issue, too. Unless the car invoked a immobilization code to the ECM I don't think this is the issue. The ECM is getting power to it.
  10. Well, the verdict is the ECM. If I can find one to borrow, that would be great. I would gladly pay to rent it. On the other hand, I am not sure ALL S4, ecms are the same and I am unsure how to tell which mine has, because the asshat before me cut the tin apart with the part number on it. I have read that there are four or five potentials.
  11. Ryan: reTAGit gets a lot of stolen bikes in there. I would keep tabs on the website http://www.retagit.com anything over $25 goes on the website.
  12. Update: 3 starters later, no start but it does crank. Now, it's either ECU or wiring from starter relays to ECU.
  13. Yeah, if I could do my own build I would either have gone RS4 E85 or RS6 turbos. From what I've read those are the most reliable setups that I have seen little to no issues out of. I think some people just don't follow the proper upgrade paths, or shortcut stuff. I'd want to start on a low mileage car, too. I think higher mileage kills the car and is more likely to have not been maintained properly. People who own B5's definitely need to have a fund for car issues, it's not a paycheck to paycheck persons car for certain.
  14. 2.7 TT is an awesome engine. Something Audi really got right. Where they fucked up was putting it in the B5 platform so it's impossible to fix or figure issues out. It's amazing to me, having owned a stage 3 s4 how, what and will go wrong because of design flaws. I am no engineer, but I have owned a lot of cars and some of the design makes sense, but most of it looks like a retard had to meet a deadline. It might have some issues, but it probably not nearly as bad as the B5 platform. I think it is just a failed design. Audi did discontinue that engine and platform.... hmm... I wonder why? If anyone was more pissed off than me, I bet they got quite a few death threats. Yeah, *IF* it will stay running. Wait, I know you say it's just my car, but I think I have read only 1/8th of the threads on the Internet about issues from stage 2+ S4's that have had nothing but issues. Even cars modified by Vast, GRD, Rennert, etc. It's just a super complicated design that lends itself to problems. Problems that are not easy to fix. Nor cheap for that matter. I like a warrantied Audi, but I think by the time I could own a new one I will be looking for something else. I just see some many reliability issues with these cars that it's unreal, even under warranty. And it's more than than a simple "that person didn't take care of their car" so they have X, Y and Z problems. It's happened with more frequency than that. I don't know how many Audi forums I am a member on now and I always chuckle when I go through the tech and help sections. Now, I think the car in this thread looks pretty badass. The only way I would have it is if it was brand new.
  15. Does anyone have a stock s4 b5 ecu laying around or know where to locate one locally?
  16. Out of state inspections only cost $5, too. It's not a big deal, they check color, vin and type of car. That's here in Franklin County.

Money is nice, but I would care more about respect in this case. You would be the laughing stock in most respectable circles if you did actually win that rigged event.
  18. I have been in email contact with the guy because we can't seem to touch base via phone. I hope all the problems get worked out so it can actually happen!
  19. I have always hated Verizon and here's just another reason. They will fuck you running however they can. I understand people on here work for them and get a steady paycheck from them. I did that for awhile myself, twice. I didn't like them anymore then than I do now.

It seriously is some hoe shit. A lot of people got turned down for it that should have went and the best shooters out there basically said "fuck this". It's entertainment, but it is certainly not based on fact or quality.

This show is an absolute joke.
  22. That's really nice, good luck with your sale!
  23. Nate: I try to help when I can. I saw Austin nor Scott answered so I figured I had some info to share. Chad: Did you end up getting it?
