If you are going to use resistors / potentiometer to provide the resistance on the IAT input, make sure they are rated at 1% tolerence and are secured in a weatherproof enclousure away from major sources of heat. Edit: Be carefull in SD modes as TEMP is a huge factor in the fueling equation.

We've had our wood deck for about 30 years with minimal upkeep (staining/pressure washing). Some tips from the old country, -Lay the foundation well below the frostline and anchor well -Use a hard, Pressure Treated wood -Run the decking verticle (smallest width of the board is facing up), toe nailing/screwing each board -Stain & Seal The largest problems youll find with decks are varmit getting underneath, so, lay some chicken/bailing wire down when you are laying the foundation. I can't argue against a concreate patio as that's pretty simple and gets the job done, all in personal taste. -

I did a proto run (3 boards) of a dual AD595 EGT PCB. Can use ungrounded/grounded K Type thermocouple, reads from 0-2012 F 0V=32F,5V=2012F Part List (For one complete EGT Circuit) from Digikey: ~20$ AD595AQ-ND CMF10.0KQFCT-ND P12.0KCACT-ND 1N4733ADICT-ND P818-ND P820-ND ED1601-ND You can get an NPT Pipe Plug Ungrounded K Type Thermocouple for about 40$, from Omega. Weldable stainless steel or steel NPT threaded bungs from McMaster Carr are about 2$.
