  1. How do those transaxles like that power?
  2. http://www.techniquetuning.com/ Nick knows his shit, hes based in FL, so some remote tuning is usually required, but the kit makes good power for the money. Prices are a bit high, so DIY may be cheaper.
  3. I think that is CarMax. MAG is across from Easton, near 270E.
  4. It's an option. The S50/52 can make more than enough HP, but to make it you have to deal with the offset of high gearing or a narrow power band caused by a large turbo. I'd say somewhere between 450-500whp is where you can reach full boost and still maintain it through each shift on factory gearing. Don't need much for the motor aspect - ideally forged pistons would be nice, but a thicker MLS gasket and head stud kit will get you by up to that point. Cylinder sealing gets to be a problem in higher HP cars because the S50/S52 has very little area between the bores.

Don't act like you didn't like it.
  6. By block I meant the generalized term of "lower end" Direct Port you panzy.

  8. DJ- Rear mount works, but they aren't the most efficient thing out there. They are nice in space constraints, like late model F-bodies or the new mustangs.
  9. :burn: Your car is still fucking awesome. Pressure is simply what's needy to make X flow. A 2.0L and 6.0L need to flow roughly the same amount of air, but the pressure in the manifold to acheive that flow varies greatly.
  10. Easy Killer. Did you start stealing cars after seeing gone in 60? What about trying to outrun police after watching Smokey and the Bandit? Maybe try to do martial arts after seeing a Jet Li flick? No, you had enough common sense to realize that well, maybe that's a bad idea. I don't see it as the movies, I see it as large part of ignorance and a lack of education. To most teens, this there only "education" about cars. They were never shown proper driving, never shown that operating a vehicle more than just something to impress your friends. I know of way to may people that were surprised when I said it only took me a single time to pass my drivers license test. Its sad to say, but people who try to impersonate something in a movie are the problem, not the movie. The movies (F&F) are comical, if anything.
  11. I was going to comment, but Mike... Well, ... I'm sorry. Most of the R&D and performance on this engine sadly isn't in Ohio...it's defintely in Michigan.
  12. www.z31performance.com www.z31.com I've worked alot with the Z31 300ZX, any questions - feel free to ask.

James, Keep an open mind and always strive to learn. Cars can be wayyy more than just nuts and bolts, but it is good to feel the mechanical aspect of it. Everyone once stripped a bolt or two, so if something goes south, just remember that. Welcome to the forum and stay safe.
  14. You know us cast iron guys love our race gas. Oh it's on the firebird...but let's just say..ohhh...LC2 Power FTW.
  15. Give it time and you'll need more spray than your block can handle :burn:
