  1. Werd. I'm amazed at the number of people that are OK with this.
  2. You've been stalking me. http://smiliesftw.com/x/squint.gif
  3. You basically just said the same damn thing that I just did. Of course it's there for power; it ain't there for looks. Compensating for atmospheric pressure is adjusting for altitude. Not to mention, you don't have to go that high up to start losing some serious power. Just an FYI, but turbos and nitrous started out in the aeronautical industry as a means to 1. combat air density changes and 2. decrease climb times.
  4. I usually go out in the woods to shoot. Blackwing's too far for me.

  6. I'm just curious as to what the 'proper' way is? Just an FYI, most of the top barrel manufacturers feel that the Majority's theory behind 'seasoning a barrel' is complete and utter horseshit. Most people do the barrel more harm, than good, when they attempt to 'season the barrel.'
  7. I'm always curious to hear peoples opinion on this subject. Explain your method.
  8. The magic rule is 10 foreign parts or less. A factory S12 has 14 foreign parts but is exempt from 922r because it's considered a 'sporting firearm'. You go slapping a 10rd mag in it and they no longer consider it a 'sporting firearm'. Same goes for adding a PG; it's no longer a SF. So you decide you want to convert one into a 'non-sporting firearm'; you'll need 5 U.S made parts to be legal. -A pistol grip does NOT count towards your count -A Buttstock is compliant -Trigger is compliant (you'll need one for the conversion) -A 10rd. mag = 3 parts So long as you run 10rd. mags in it, you'd be perfectly legal. Swap in a factory foreign 5rd. mag, and you'd need 3 more parts to get legit. -a gas puck is an easy and cheap one -I can't remember if the Tapco G2 trigger group comes with the hammer and disconnector, but if it does, those count as an additional 2 parts. -An aftermarket forearm is another. Anyways, as you can see, it's extremely easy to be compliant when converting one. If you have any more questions, let me know.
  9. Not saying it's going to happen...
  10. Part of Phil's dying wishes is that he wants Jake to continue on crabbing, because he believes it's in his blood, and he wants Josh to get out of crabbing because he doesn't feel that he's cut out for it.
  11. AGP mags count as 3 U.S. parts. It's been awhile since I've looked into S12's and 922r compliance, but IIRC, that plus your other PG conversion parts more than makes it compliant. As for someone who can do it, it's really not that hard to do. I've got my 2nd S12 sitting here in pieces that I've been meaning to convert. I just need to get off my ass and do it. Anyone with moderate welding skills could probably do it. What all are you wanting done?
  12. That's pretty much a CZ clone, specifically the 75 compact. Look into the CZs if that's what your after. CZ makes good shit. www.czusa.com
  13. I think someone entirely different comes on to run it, from what I've read.
  14. Off to a good start so far!
  15. I do sometimes during the winter. Depends on my mood. The barrel length shouldn't be an issue; the grip's what gets you. Now that it's warm out, I just throw my 642 in my pocket and go.
  16. They were saving you from a bad decision.
  17. To be fair, XM isn't much better. I've got it it my truck and though there are very few commercials, you have to listen to the same fucking songs over and over and over. It gets old, quick. I voted Blitz, NO GOD DAMN MORNING SHOWS (why do people want to listen to a morning show anyways?), and mostly newer music with maybe a touch of 90's stuff thrown in. I miss the Wazu.
