Hard to say for certain. Kimber's fit and finish is known to be pretty crappy and inconsistant. It really depends on how tight your gun is as well as the feed ramp geometry. Also, like the Fur guy said, mags can be a critical factor as well.
The flat nose tends to get hung up on the feed ramp/chamber in tight guns. The PT1911 is almost definitely built to looser specs, and that's why they'll feed in it.
If the OP has a dremel and wants them to feed in his gun, he could touch up his feed ramp/chamber area to remove any burrs or transitions where the nose is hanging up, and then polish the whole thing. That would most likely fix the problem.
Werd. Tap Rack Bang is pretty much standard protocol for malfunctions of any sort. Most of the time, it'll fix the problem.
And by 'Tap', they actually mean, 'Hit it like a Man.'
I would definitely start out with a short barrel S&W 500 shooting some 700gr. loads. You'll barely notice the recoil.
And nobody in their right mind will fuck with you.
I thought that too when I bought my Colorado. Little did I know, it'd be a POS.
All the power of a 4 cylinder
All the fuel consumption of a 6 cylinder.
It would be extremely easy to turbo, though....

It might seem that way, but it's really not. Again, this goes back to the whole, if you're intent on breaking the one law, then do you really give a shit about another?
