Diablo makes a blade with a negative tooth angle just for laminate. That's what I used on my house when I put down 800sqft of it. Crosscuts on the miter saw. Rips on the table saw. Worked great. If you're cutting a lot though, plan on trashing a blade. That shit is hard as hell.

What setup did you go with? I've been eyeballing a Tenkara Rod Co. Mini Teton package. I'm taking a hard look at Tenkara for an ultralight fishing rig when backcountry hunting this fall. They weight next to nothing, which is preferred.

My TWC internet bill for 15Mbps went up from $53.xx to $64.xx. I called to see what was up/possibly bitch. The guy got back on the phone and said, how about 60Mbps for $50.xx/month? Sold! Didn't have to bitch even a little bit. speedtest.net shows me in the low 70s.

So consensus says keep unlimited. That's the direction I was leaning. I like the thought of being able to do whatever I want, whenever I want, and not have to worry about data limits. I won't be going to AT&T. Ever. They have jack shit for service out in the rural western US, which is where I plan on spending a lot of time in the coming years.

Long story, short; I've been on my parents family plan since the beginning of cell phones and just pay them my share every month. I've had unlimited data since they did that kind of thing and have refused to give it up, but it's cost quite a bit to do so. Right now, we pay about $300/month for 4 lines. Now, in order for me to keep doing what I'm doing, I would have to buy my next phone outright (I REALLY need a new one), and continue to pay ~$300/mo. However, if I give up my unlimited data, we can save about $100/mo, and I can get a new phone for relatively cheap. So, am I being stupid in refusing to forfeit unlimited data? The biggest bandwidth-hog I use is streaming music, which I haven't done in about 8 months because my busted-ass iPhone 5 won't do it anymore. Any of you who have given it up over the years completely regret doing so?

You're referring to this situation like it's the norm; it's not. I do agree that campus security at major universities is usually pretty good, but they can't be everywhere. We just got lucky this time that an on-duty officer just happened to be standing there when shit popped off. I agree with this, however, I don't think that just because you can carry on campus that you automatically turn into a shit bag. Do we worry about these folks when they're not on campus (as was the case that every Anti brought up when CCW was on the rise, yet never came to fruition)? No. So I don't worry about it now just because they can move a few blocks inward. Yup. Not to mention, it was a knife and not a gun, which is usually the case.
