  1. It could. As long as the fuel system could handle it, and they've got enough turbo, I don't see any reason why they couldn't turn it up to 6-800.
  2. Funny story: A few years back, I was riding shotgun in my mom's '98 C5 vert (her driving, no front plate) on our way to tour Ohio Northern college. We were heading north on Rt. 23 and were stuck in a crowd of people behind a state trooper. Nobody would pass this guy who was barely going the speed limit. Well, she got ballsy and decided to ease on by him at maybe 56-57 mph. Wouldn't you know, as soon as we get in front of him, he flips on his damn lights. Well, this sends her into a womanly rage. "That asshole's only pulling us over because we're in a Corvette..." So, we pull over on the side of the road, and the statey comes strolling up to her window. Also, being that the car sits so low, I don't think he realized I was sitting in the passenger seat. The conversation went like this: Him: "Ma'am, do you know why I pulled you over?" Her: "I honestly have no idea" Him: "Well, I pulled you over because I saw that you have no front license plate" Her: "o rly?" Him: ''ya rly" Her: "Well, I must have just forgotten to put it on when I bought it" Him: "Ma'am, we are constantly looking at front plates to try to identify stolen vehicles...blah blah blah." Her: "Oh, well this one isn't stolen, so it's no big deal" Him: "Well ma'am, it is a big deal. What's it going to take for you to put the license plate on the front of the vehicle?" Me (who'd been silent the whole time): " Two screws and a screwdriver" Him: < Bends down> < Evil glare> "I'm going to let you off with a verbal warning, and you folks have a nice day" ...and off we went. Never did put that ugly ass plate on the car though.
  3. What exactly does your name mean anyways? I'm too lazy to run it through a translation site.
  4. And he's going to need all 850 to run down a certain Z06. keke
  5. I'll probably be out in the dinged up vette.
  6. not really. I think almost all of the parts are interchangable, save for pistons and such.

  8. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=1317631&forum_id=86 Kinda Sketchy. Read what 'Slowhawk' posts about them on the bottom of the first page. They wouldn't have this problem if they have stuck with a 3rd gen. LS6 > * :woowoo:
  9. I called Hooters. They claim to have no cameras watching their parking lot. There goes that opportunity. Although, I am a bit skeptical as to whether the manager was telling me the truth. He seemed a bit hesitant in telling me. Almost like he was scared I was going to get them involved. But, it could be that I'm just paranoid. The fender isn't caved in or anything. It's mainly scuffing of the clearcoat, and one scratch running down the back of the fender, and about an inch onto the driver door. As light as they hit it, I would almost give them the benefit of the doubt, and say they might not have known they hit it. But then again, maybe the did. Who knows. Reality is, I'll never find out who did it. They video camera thing was probably my only chance (good idea btw, Sam). I'm guessing it'll cost me close to $800-$1000 out of pocket to have the fender repainted. Ah well. Not much you can really do besides move on. I suppose this would be as good of a time as any to buy an aftermarket hood, and have it painted at the same time. I had one on my wish list anyways. This whole situation still sucks though. Thanks for the help guys.
  10. Partially. I remember it was a new Ford truck. Didn't pay much attention to what type. And I know I'll never figure out who hit it. I'm just venting. Whoever hit it, barely hit it. My friend noticed the scuffs above the front driver side rim, and when we shined the lights on it, saw a fine scratch, and more scuffing all down the side of the front fender, and small area on the driver door. I can not express how pissed off I am at the current moment.
  11. Hooter's Polaris. Between 9:30pm and 11:00 tonite (2-22-06)
  12. ...for any information on the low life, mother fucking, cock sucker who side swiped my car, and left without informing me of doing so. Fucking dishonest people. You can't own anything nice these days.
  13. Yes'um. Oh, and Preston, you've already heard it from me, but the wheels are beautiful, as well as the exhaust note.
  14. I'd have fucking killed him if that was my car he hit.
  15. I'm kind of scared to run my car at any track on Friday the 13th, especially in October. So, I voted September, and also voted for a $5 spectator fee. If you wanna see some cool shit run, I think it should be worth atleast $5 to ya.
  16. We rent them. http://www.dynahoeequipment.com Other than that, I don't have one I can loan you. You'd need the blaster and also a high CFM compressor to go with it. Though, what we have is probably overkill for your application.
  17. He rides dirty. I haven't watched him ride in a couple years. He used to T-bone the shit out of people to pass them in the corners. But yes, he can ride.
  18. Ah, whoops. I was under the impression that the spool gun replaced the 'tig torch' in some way. I couldn't figure out how though. Ok, next question. Besides being quicker, why would you use MIG over TIG to weld aluminum? Also, what would be the reason behind the spool gun for a MIG? Couldn't you just replace the internal spool with an aluminum spool and get the same result? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just curious.
  19. Why would you use a spool gun over just a normal aluminum filler rod? Any particular reason?
