I've always wondered. Why do track bikes have their head/tail lights covered up or replaced all together? What's the reason behind that?

Those are to eliminate post-cat O2s. You still need your pre-cat O2(s) to work in conjuction with your MAF, AFAIK. I do know that, atleast for LSx motors, you can run a speed density tune and eliminate the MAF and all of your O2s. The way I understand it is that the motor runs off of IATs and MAP sensor readings only, and takes barometric pressure out of the equation. Not saying this is 100% accurate, it's just the way I understand it.

That's the kit I've been eyeballing for some time now. I just have to find a way to pay for it. I keep having this debate with myself, as to whether I want to buy an '06 R6 or mod the vette. If I were to mod the vette, that is the route I would go. Granted, the complete kits still aren't out yet (carbon fiber pieces are held up), but some people have fabbed some of their own parts and are just starting to get them running. I love the design of that kit though. Now to find $9,000 to buy stage 1, and hope I don't break anything else, which inevitably will happen.

Sad, but that's the way it works. My family owns a lot of real estate and we have had to do that before to people. It doesn't happen often, but it has happened a couple times. I guess it would depend on the situation as to whether or not the guy deserved to have his crap set out on the curb. I'd almost bet though, that he had plenty of notice before it happened. Still sucks though.

Anyone know how to get rid of 'burn-in' on a sony laptop? This thing isn't even a year old. I left a game on the other day, thinking, "it's a newer design, it won't burn in, because it never has before." Well, I go away for a couple of hours and come back to find a 3"x3" spot on my screen that has a slight case of burn-in from the game. It aggravates the hell out of me too. I even had the screen closed so I figured the screen would be off. Is there any fixing this?

OMG. That is the absolute coolest thing I have ever seen. You should order atleast 15 of those kits. You could have the absolute fastest car in Columbus with that. I have a friend with a honda that has just ONE of those kits on his civic, and it runs 10's, maybe 7's, I'm not exactly sure. I can, however, tell you that it is the fastest thing I have ridden in.

probably the same ones who pulled out their beanbag and teargas guns at hooters friday nite, for a couple of burnouts. I respect cops and all, but that, to me, seemed a little unneccessary.
