  2. I have an electron blue C5 Z06, which just so happens to be faster and look better than a C6. tongue.gif
  3. I'd love to take a trip like this some day, but time doesn't allow it at this point in my life. Also curious as to how you will be traveling around?
  4. maybe your cat(s) is/are retarded?

  7. I'm no computer person, by far. But if you know the IP, can't you find the person it's coming from?
  8. I still have dial-up. So even if I did click on the link, the virus would probably get tired of waiting to get on my computer, and would eventually give up. But thanks for the heads up.
  9. Like Ant said, what did you use for tuning?
  10. Oh, forgot to mention. He damn near got in a wreck IN the parking garage of CSCC one day while I was sitting in my car. Dumbshit was looking to his right for some odd reason (I think he was staring down an integra or something, gave a good ole JDM rev) and unknowingly drifted into the oncoming lane in the garage. Well, luckily the guy in the accord in the oncoming lane noticed he was an idiot that didn't know how to drive, and slammed on his brakes while laying on the horn. So, Spilner uses his mad street racing skillz to swerve out of the way, narrowly avoiding hitting the accord by about a foot. I laughed my ass off and was kind of upset that he didn't hit something. Had he done that, I'd have got out of my car, pointed, laughed, and continued on to class.
  11. I see a Green FnF eclipse replica damn near everyday at CSCC. I always laugh as this tool drives through the parking garage with his 'racing harnesses' on. Seriously. It's hysterical.
  12. mine did the same thing when I had it. I was told by LS1tech that it was just the gear. Lucky for me, it was under warranty, so I just let them dick with it. They replaced the whole motor and that fixed it. (Read- NOT CHEAP) So, according to your story, I'm thinking that mine might not have been the gear and might have been the motor itself. Which is bad news for the owner of the F-body, because that motor wasn't cheap from what I remember.
  13. Don't hold me to this, but I don't think you can mix the Y-body and F-body programs. I could be wrong. I will tell you though, that I will be purchasing a programming software for my car as soon as V2.0 of HPtuners is released. After that happens, I'll make my decision on whether to go with HPT or EFI Live. If you don't have any programming software by then, I might be looking for another person to go in on the purchase with me. I'll let you know when the time comes.
  14. I don't want in on the deal since I don't have an F-body anymore. But, I figured I'd throw in my $.02 1. You might talk to Bill Wright of COFBA.org for tuning. I hear he's getting pretty good now. 2. Avoid LS1 edit. HPtuners and EFIlive FlashScan are leaps and bounds above LS1 edit now. Just my little tidbit of info for the day.
  15. My old WS.6 had the driver side headlight gear strip. Does the lamp go up, then down immediatly after you lock/unlock the car, then make a horrible grinding sound for about 5 seconds? If so, headlamp gear. Luckily, mine was still under warranty, so I didn't dick with it. I just let the dealership fix it. They replaced the whole motor assembly itself, and I think they said that was over $300 itself!!! But, like Joe said, it's an easy fix. You can either: 1. pull apart your motor assembly and flip the cheapass plastic gear and wait for it to strip that side, or... 2. buy an aftermarket brass gear that won't strip and only replace it once for the life of the car. I've been out of the F-body circle for about a year now, so I can't really point you where to find the brass gear, or a write-up on how to fix it. If I were you, I'd do a search over on LS1Tech.com for more info. Hope this helps.
  16. Truest statement ever to be typed on CR? I think so.
  17. Damn. I wish I'd have known about this. I'd have been there in a heartbeat.
  18. Thanks for ruining it for the rest of us. tongue.gif
