No, didn't see that result! WTF Ok State? They choke about as much as Clemson. Yeah, a month ago all we heard about was the Baylor Armageddon that would inevitably reign down upon poor little Buckeye Nation. Kentucky has been able to walk up and just say "SEC" for many years now. How's that worked out for them? And you could argue Kentucky is situated close to just as many - if not more - talent pools than Missouri. So, yeah, that argument doesn't hold water.

I think it's a great move for Peterson and a great hire for Washington. On The Fan the other day, they were debating whether Washington was a better job than Missouri. Um, it's a much better job than Missouri, IMHO. I think it will be easier to have success in the PAC being Washington than in the SEC being Missouri. Washington is in Seattle. Missouri is in Columbia. I'd take Seattle over Columbia. Fans in the Pacific NW are awesome.

I've long thought B1G could land both Texas and Oklahoma. However, Texas wouldn't get a sweetheart deal like they have now. Of course, last I heard, the LHN wasn't doing all that swell, so maybe Texas will be more likely to entertain an offer from the B1G. Also, around the time the B1G would reel in Texas and Oklahoma, they make another run at Notre Dame. Could you imagine Texas, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame joining Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, and Penn State in one conference? B1G East Ohio State Michigan Penn State Michigan State Purdue Notre Dame (preserving rivalries with Purdue, Mich State, and Michigan) etc. B1G West Texas Oklahoma (Red River Rivalry stays intact) Nebraska Iowa Wisconsin Oklahoma State (they would have to come with Oklahoma) etc.

DJ, agree with everything you just said. I basically said as much to Ashley about 45 minutes ago. I think he gets nothing. They don't hold press conferences to discuss why someone is getting charged. They just arrest them and charge them. Instead they hold press conferences to explain why they didn't pursue charges.
