  1. What the hell - Josh, were you drunk last night? I thought bicranium was just giving you some good-natured razzing, considering that we know how you feel about Urban. And then you just went fucking tomahawk on him... Id like Urban to coach here. I don't want Fickell to be fired, but I dont want him being my head coach either. Let him stay defensive coordinator. However, the reality is that when you get a new head coach they often want to bring in their own peeps.
  2. This actually proves that the Internet is cereal business.
  3. The one in Hilliard is called Ohio Krav Manga. Here's a link: http://www.ohiokravmaga.com/schedules.html The one downtown is called Ohio Fit Club.
  4. Just got a couple of emails from LFF and LT. When I signed up, it was California Fitness. I got the inclusive membership where I could use any gym. I never had any problems once I got switched over the LFF, and my rates never went up. However, these emails make it seem like I only use the Polaris LFF (when I haven't been there in years) and also intimate I'll only be allowed to use the Dublin Life Time. Looks like I now get to start calling to get shit figured out. Awesome. *sigh*
  5. I'm completely on board with all of this. In fact, the more you and Phil talk about LT the more I'm convinced I'll just start going there (unless the rebranded Hilliard gym turns out to be something really good). On an aside, I'm thinking about looking into a Cross Fit gym. I guess there's one in Hilliard.
  6. Andy, wow, sounds like the Polaris gym took a nosedive with a quickness. What you've said about LifeTime sounds great, though. It may be worth the extra drive time for me to go to the one on Henderson when it opens as opposed to going to the rebranded gym in Hilliard. Yeah, totally agree. I was disappointed with Urban Active. I did a trial membership thing at the one on Hilliard Rome Road soon after it opened. If I was into running on treadmills, then that seemed like the place to be, as they had like 4 trillion treadmills. However, free weights, not so much. Way too small of an area - it felt cramped even if there were like four people working free weights. Completely agree on widening a workout by including those other things. Also, I think there is only one LifeStyle gym that has a pool, which is the one on Sawmill, but the pool is fairly small/narrow.
  7. Glad to see the Hilliard gym isn't closing, since that's the one I use primarily. Though I wonder what changes will come with the "rebranding" of it. I guess if worse comes to worse, I can just go back to using the Henderson Road gym. After all, I've always heard great things about Life Time gyms.
  8. I'll take "pwning these n00bs" for $2000, Alex.
  9. You have a point, but I think I'd still take the AWD even with the added weight. You?
  10. OMFG! Those hedges need shaped up at the top.
  11. Agreed. The older I get, the more I appreciate buying something with a lot of horsepower AND a warranty. There's a certain peace of mind that comes with knowing that if something breaks, I can just have the car towed to the dealership and say, "Here you go, fix this; I'll be out in the loaner."
  12. +1 Which also pretty much illustrates the points that were being made in the GT500 thread: at certain points for RWD cars, RWHP becomes pointless because you can't get it planted. This is why I think my next "fun" car is going to be AWD.
  13. LOL @ this thread. Insert Dover and Phil going crazy. Somone posts something about tracks and cars. Insert more Dover and Phil going nuts. Someone else posts something about tracks and cars as if Dover and Phil aren't saying a bunch of crazy shit.
  14. True, if Nissan can do it, then there's no reason why Chevy can't.
  15. LOL so much win. And round of applause to the OP for the observation.
  16. Perhaps a silly question, but do you think Chevy and Dodge aren't going the AWD route as a means of keeping costs contained? I just wonder how much more it costs to covert something to an AWD platform. I'd go bonkers for, say, an AWD ZR1, but how much more would that cost to make, etc?
  17. Piggy piggy - that's a lot of weight to move around. Kind of what I was thinking. Not sure I can ever go back to a Mustang. We had a good run, but I think it's over for good. :fa:
