  2. JP, you can text me it and I can host it if you want. You still have my number?
  3. Truth. Which one are you? Please tell me you're the girl because this thread will quickly go PG-13.
  4. Jason Bourne poster serves as an anachronism.
  5. Chad, seriously, it might not hurt to call back and ask them to clarify what their dress code is. I wouldn't hesitate to ask them what they mean if someone says "casual formal" again - because that doesn't make much sense to me, either.

  7. They will try to race you repeatedly if you are driving. If you are parked, then they will hover around your car, whisper things like, "Too fast, too furious," and tell all of their cop friends that it's the fastest thing in the parking lot.

  9. You, sir, are a genius. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2493/3917832894_1894468a02.jpg "Oh, hi guys. So glad you invited me on short notice for dinner. Now, shall we talk business?"

  11. Or maybe this: http://costumepop.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/how-to-make-ninja-costume.jpg
  12. Or, how about wearing this: http://www.costumeshopper.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/21119-chinese-hat.jpg
  13. Now that we've solved your problem, can we now start joking about what you could wear? For instance, I think it would be hilarious for you to show up dressed just like Don Johnson in Miami Vice. White blazer, pink shirt, sleeves pushed up, cheesy sunglasses, etc. And, when someone is like, "What's up with your outfit?" you could just calmly reply, "I've done my research on how the locals here in Miami dress, thanks."
  14. /thread Seriously, always better to be overdressed. Marc's recommendations for attire are solid.
  15. I think the issue here is what people are morally or ethically supposed to do, not what they are legally or contractually obligated to do. Legally and contractually, JoePa did what he was supposed to do. So, in this sense, by (my understanding of) the letter of the law, Phil's argument is correct: JoePa is not legally culpable. He acted in accordance with the law and his contractual obligations to his employer. However, a much different conclusion of culpability can be reached if consideration is turned to the ethics of the matter. Was JoePa, or the graduate assistant, morally or ethically obligated to do more? Do we - as humans and a society that universally abhors pedophilia and sexual predation of children - have a moral obligation to do more in a situation like that beyond simply following the letter of the law? I'd say that a fair number of people would answer that in the affirmative, which thus makes JoePa and the graduate assistant (and all the others involved) culpable.
  16. Yup, here's link to ESPN on it: http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7211281/penn-state-nittany-lions-joe-paterno-retire-end-season
  17. Having worked in both federal prison and county jails, I can assure you that those who sexually offend against children are the lowest on food chain and viewed as prime targets for being offended against themselves. There are inmates who pride themselves on exacting "jailhouse justice" on guys like Sandusky.
  18. PSU = Pedophilia State University? Seriously, this doesn't even come close to comparing to Ohio State's and Miami's situations. What we and Miami did isn't criminal; this shit that Sandusky is accused of doing can get you life in prison, literally.
  19. We need to solve the mystery of the DEE JAY BLABAB. Get him in here to tell us what the hell he said.
