Starting list. Let me know if I should include your name or take it off the list. I want to compile a prelimary count of who is interested in playing. -Johnny Bravo -KillJoy -nurkvinny -Forrest Gump 9

    Yes, exactly. You know it?

  4. Yes on the ice. Cubed, not crushed. Just pour both in until you achieve desired taste/potency. You can shake if you want to get all Double Oh Seven about it, but stirring usually suffices. Let me know when you're ready to head out to Mynt; since you're drinking Red Bull and vodka, you now have an obligation to go chach it up downtown. I'll be the guy there with winning abs and awesome hair.

We can play at my condo clubhouse. It's nice and has four wooden poker tables (like with the chip and drink holders), which - I think - seat about six or seven each. So, that would be plenty of room, I'd think. I live in Hilliard, off Davidson (near Hilliard Davidson HS). The clubhouse costs $25 to rent. I'm not going to make a big deal about the rental fee (I'll cover the whole thing if I have to), though it'd be nice if we could get enough guys together so that if everyone chipped in just one or two bucks we could cover that cost. Let me know if this is going to be an issue. Drinks of all kinds (alcoholic included) and food are welcome within the clubhouse. Of course, we can't jack the place up, or else I'll lose the $100 deposit that I'm obligated to submit in conjunction with the $25 rental fee. Let me know what you think.
  6. Awesome thread. Before starting your next one, prep with an arsenic smoothie. TIA
  7. If you want to make a good impression, then take her somewhere nice for dinner. If it were me, then I'd go to Mitchell's steakhouse in Polaris. You like this girl, right? Then do it right, playa. Then, after dinner, you might go somewhere fun, like Dave and Busters or whatever. There's Magic Mountain up in Polaris too. You said you think she'd be into something like that, so either of those places might be winners. Pairing the fun stuff with the nice dinner can be a winning combo: let her know with the dinner that you're serious, you're a baller, and she's worth the coin, and then let her know with the Magic Mountain stuff that you aren't boring or just into stuffy restaurants and can have fun.
  8. I thought it was the guy who's SN is BH2-something. He has (or had for the longest time) a Cincinnati Bengal football player as his avatar. I think he was the one who posted up that infamous mirror pic?

I'm okay with it being in Marysville, though I'd also like to drink, just not on Tuesdays. Can we come up with another locale?

Well, it sounds like we have enough people interested to have a game, though there seems to be some discord with respect to the stakes. I guess we should start with a locale. Eli, where is your place?
  11. Nice find. Some of those shots, like the night sky that shows so many stars and illustrates the rotation of the earth and the rolling clouds, were amazing.

I'm down. Killjoy, didn't we try to get a poker game together a while ago? My suggestion is that, if we had regular poker game, that the stakes or whatever are kept low. Higher stakes get people too far bent out of shape too easily. The game should be fun, not stressful. I live in a new condo complex that has a nice clubhouse that I could rent out, provided that we had enough people willing to show up to justify the rental.
  13. But it is very blue. I mean, that alone is worth $750K.
  14. Legit. I just made $10k quoting this. CR makes people rich.
  15. Will patiently await your talent videos.
  16. The front and rear views are absolutely awesome
  17. Yeah, I was thinking - as I layed awake in bed at 2:30am - that they might divide the county into quadrants and have the sirens sound on a quandrant (versus a county-wide) basis. Of course, that has flaws too: a tornado could be literally a mile from your house (and headed your direction) but, because you live on the other side of the quadrant dividing line, the sirens don't go off in your quadrant. Maybe then the solution is a "rolling" warning area, wherein the system is wired so that all sirens within x amount of miles of a tornado sighting (or the extreme wind conditions/rotation or whatever) go off. I'm just kind of thinking out loud here.
  18. So, are you saying that the warning system in place is as good as it can get? I understand that storms are unpredictable, so I wouldn't be so naive as to demand perfection. But I'd think the system in place is a bit too flawed.
  19. This. Was woke up by storm, checked out the news, saw the worst had passed, and went back to bed. A few minutes later I hear the sirens. They really should reevaluate how the alert system works, as it's my impression that all the sirens will go off county-wide regardless of where in the county the tornado sighting occurs. So, you have a tornado sighting in Groveport with sirens going off in Hilliard...uhh, not exactly accurate. Unfortunately, I think people get desensitized to the sirens.
  20. So what you're saying is I'm as good at Farkas at typing.
