Oh, then, yeah, don't think you can quite stretch a 40 roll out of first gear? I used to love going from a 40 roll in first gear in my 03 Cobra (which had the stock rear end). On a warm night, it would hook (with DRs) from a 40 roll, even on spray. Sure, I'd have to be quick on the 1-2 shift but I just loved the way it pulled.

And I think a Porsche would be a no-go. Too much money for not being in love with them. Of course, haven't ever driven one, so maybe I shouldn't pass judgment too quickly.

Not really. Nothing against them, just have always preferred Vettes.

I like to think of CR as singing lead for Lynyrd Skynyrd... As an open thought to CR, I think this has happened before, and will happen again: 1. Some new members show up on CR and start aggravating people 2. Some established members on CR get annoyed and start complaining about how things used to be and how there are too many trolls around 3. Most everyone (trolls and CR elite alike), despite the chaos and complaining, is satisfied and finds CR entertaining on some level 4. The aggravating trolls either are eventually driven away or change satisfactorily and assimilate with CR 5. And CR waits until the next batch of aggravating trolls arrive, and the process repeats itself I'll go on the record and say that I think this newest batch of members - the Mr. Asshole guy and mjrsplat and so forth - are annoying for sure. However, it's also my opinion that, no matter how small your group is, there's always going to be stratification - someone's always going to be the dumbass, there's always going to the the "bottom of the barrel." So, in a weird way, clowns like these help maintain a sort of homeostasis here, a balance wherein a steady supply of fodder is supplied and CR doesn't regress to cannabalism.

It's noted in the video that he didn't finish the drink. (Insert comment about that being a party foul or being weaksauce here.) Had he finished it, I wonder what his BAL would have been? Could this kid have died?

FML just when things were starting to clear up a bit people start posting pics of white ZR1s... Okay, still won't pass judgment until I test drive all of them. And by all of them I also mean a ZR1. A used white C6 Z06 is going to be - what - around $70K anyway? Since I'm fairly sure they only just released white in the C6 Z06.
