  1. WOW - seriously, just WOW.
  2. Oh, right - got it. EDIT: Kenny, didn't see your reply before I replied to Ben. Yeah, I remember seeing the thing on SportsCenter with Johnson whining.
  3. LOL, has Alabama even had one Heisman winner? Kenny, what's the reference to CJ?
  4. Hmm, to me, it sounded as though he does need to worry at least a little about making a good impression, considering the clientele he expects to be riding in his vehicle and his intended line of work. If it were me, I'd go with Option #3.
  5. When Jim Tressel signed my book the other day, he asked that I make a triple post for him. We're even, Tress.
  6. You don't know how the majority of OSU fans would feel about that issue. You could surmise how they might feel about it, but you don't know. This isn't to say you wouldn't be ultimately correct on the issue or that I can't appreciate your viewpoint, I'm just saying that it seems highly implausible that you would actually knowthat.
  7. Yeah, OSU has a massive fan base - perhaps behind only Notre Dame and (gasp!) Michigan - in terms of a national following. Also, consider that OSU is a huge school - second only to, I believe, Florida in terms of overall enrollment - so there are a ton of alumni floating around the country. Further, OSU is based in a relatively large, metropolitan area that has relatively large population. Thus, just by association, there'll be a large number of fans. So, what's that mean? Not really sure, but I'd guess that, just by the numbers, it adds up to OSU having a lot of fans and, thus, a larger potential to have vocal and/or ignorant fans roamning about.
  8. I disagree. I'd, for one, find the same comments coming from Smith about UM to be as equally as silly/disrespectful, and I'd imagine a fair share of OSU fans would feel the same as me. Of course, there are ignorant OSU fans - every team/sport has its share of ignorant fans, after all - but they aren't all ignorant.
  9. He wasn't hyping up SC as much as he was denegrating OSU and, more specifically, OSU's fans. I can completely support a pro quarterback talking up his alma mater (e.g., "SC is awesome, I think we'll do great again OSU..."), but I think it's a bit silly - for several reasons - for a pro quarterback to bash another university's program.
  10. Wow, I think I hear awkward silence.
  11. The title of this thread had me expecting something else...
  12. Jamie, congrats on such a strong pass. Glad to see things working out with the car.
  13. Oh, seeing things right in front of me has always been a difficult skillset for me.

    Snitch...

Phonetics just metaphorically lauched a football, hit you squarely in the head, and knocked the Ray Bans from your face, sending them spiraling away onto the ground in an awesome display of awkwardness. Now we all get to look away in embarrassment and act like we didn't see what just happened.
  15. First I was like , Kevin R is so right, and I'm busted. But then I thought about all the good times we have together, and it made me like this
  16. Are those Airwalks on your car? Please say yes.
  17. I'd rate it as a fair article. Those who gave quotes (e.g., Hal, Anthony) did well, IMO. Agreed with Marc - Anthony looks thugalicious. I'm sure people will absolutely not think he does anything illegal based on that picture.
  18. I'm going to guess that you wear these three things when you're typing on the Internet: 1. A jacket that looks kind of like this: http://www.track-backs.com/image/corvette.jpg 2. Some of these bad boys: http://www.lamborghinitroymerchandise.com/images/Racing%20Gloves%20$134.00.jpg 3. And a sweet John Stossel mustache: http://www.wchstv.com/abc/2020/johnstossel.jpg AMIRITE?
  19. Oh, I must have missed the part where someone posted it in The Kitchen. (I haven't been on the board much as of late.) What member here did that?
  20. I'm posting because I just read all of this babble and feel I deserve it. First, Brian owned this thread with his black Stig picture. *applause* Second, I've always been an advocate of the position that it's your money and your car, so do with it what you want. So, you have a lot of stuff on your S2000. Not exactly my style, but, then again, it's not exactly my car, either. To each their own as far as I'm concerned. Third, the pic with you and the gun is a lightning rod for criticism. Yes, I can appreciate posing in a particular style for artistic and aesthetic appeal, and, yes, I can even appreciate looking completely chachi in the process. However, at least around here, pictures like that will usually bring more criticism than compliments, as you've likely learned. Bravo for having the balls to post it, but more of the same will likely draw the ire of this board.
