  1. Listen, as long as it's not a priest shitting in a nun's mouth, I won't complain too much.
  2. Roger that - just happened to open this thread before the other one.
  3. Go take a bath with a toaster.
  4. What the hell is this nonsense?
  5. You should be fired from the Internet.
  6. Easiest way out of this will be to set up a long, low-speed police chase in a white Bronco. Good luck.

    Wtf??

Not sure about your experiences, but I've been to Chicago a few times, and I've consistently found it to be an exceptionally clean, well-kept city, especially considering it's sheer size. (Four million people in the city alone, ten million in the metro area.) I can definitely say that I never got the impression Chicago was plagued by bums. In fact, and somewhat oddly, the city where I've seen the most "bums" has been Indianapolis - I was there about a month ago, and they were everywhere.
  8. Cosmetic work or engine modifications?
  9. Thanks, homie - I know you would. Okay, update, I think he's decided to go the more traditional route and simply take a limo like everyone else. Thanks for the replies.
  10. Does (or did) your Z06 have white numbers (i.e., like autocross numbers or whatever) on the side of it?
  11. Right. I'm not exactly sure with respect to whose insurance would cover what. I was recently told by an insurance company that "the insurance follows the vehicle," so interpret that how you want. I'm fairly sure he's an adept rider. He rides dirt bikes competitively and has for years. Yes, I know, dirt bikes aren't street bikes. So, I'm just making an assumption here. Not sure if he has a motorcycle license. Yeah, I would agree that it's a pretty big liability. Thanks for pointing that out. Not sure, don't care. I'm doing this as a favor for a family friend. He wants to ride a bike to prom, so I'm inquiring about the possibilities of him doing that as favor to him.
  12. Thanks Available to rent? Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what he's thinking, but, hey, the dress has gotta come off sooner or later, amirite? LOL, typo on the last figure, or are you basically saying you aren't interested in renting out your bike? a/s/l?
  13. This may sound like an odd request, and I'm just kind of throwing this out there. Here's the deal: a family friend is looking to buy a street bike, or rent one for his prom this weekend. Does anyone have a relatively inexpensive motorcycle they'd like to sell? Or, does anyone have a motorcycle they'd be willing to rent out for a weekend? I don't think it has to be anything fancy, either. Any street bike would seemingly do. Let me know your thoughts. Again, this may seem weird, so if I'm way off base here, be gentle. EDIT: Apparently, I've posted in the wrong section - this post is probably better suited for The Corral. Sorry, I'm a moron. Mods/Admins, please move it at your discretion.
  14. That one run the EVO came around the Cobra fairly hard. Two pretty fast fucking cars, I think.
  15. Sick pics - the one with the orange background is the hottness.
  16. Argosy is about what you'd expect of a riverboat casino - not exactly high class and kind of small. Of course, I'm comparing it to the casinos in Vegas, and, well, there's really no comparison there. I think there's plenty to do there with respect to gambling - they have a poker room, they have slots, they have table games like blackjack, and so on and so forth. However, I'd have to say that, for a bachelor party, it won't be the most exciting atmosphere. Every time I've been there (which is about 10 times), there hasn't been much scenery. The patrons tend to be older and, well, hick-ish. No that there's anything wrong with that, it's just not the type of crowd I'd like to spend my last night of singlehood with, you know? Similarly, I don't know of many clubs around that area - in fact, the Argosy is kind of in the middle of nowhere. In sum, the Argosy has enough to keep gamblers satisfied for a few hours, but the scenery is a little lacking.
  17. Real question is why haven't you done that to your car already? Seriously, is that a photoshop? Please tell me it is, and I'll sleep a little better tonight.
  18. Sorry for your loss, but glad to hear you're okay.
  19. Did you verify that it's been taken with someone at the BMV? The reason why I ask is because something similar happened to me: (1) I checked on the availability of a plate and the website indicated it was available; (2) a few hours later I tried to order the plate through the website, but was informed by the website it was not available; so (3) I went to the BMV in person to inquire about it and found out that, in fact, it was available and that "sometimes the website will tell you a plate isn't available when it really is."
