  2. Straight up, hold up Mr. Lover, like Prince said I'm a sexy motherfucker.
  3. I'd like to say really soon, but little things keeping popping up that add to the overall delay. I can say though that a lot of progress has been made in recent weeks. So, I wouldn't anticipate it being too much longer.
  4. John, you are so money baby. You are so money and don't even know it.
  5. Nevermind - I know who you're talking about now. Off to read that thread...
  6. TJ, exactly my thoughts; I know the guy who posted probably meant well, but, at the same time, I couldn't help but notice what kind of sign he's putting on a lot of people's backs.
  7. This just made me LOL. And, because of that, I am not breaking up with you tonight.
  8. Like when she's falling off the mountain and passing by at terminal velocity?
  9. LOL - true story. I heart OSUGT. Not taking sides, either, BTW. I could give a fuck less what this thread is actually about. So, I guess I'll promptly eject myself from it. Bye!
  10. Sweet jesus, someone bring back Coltboostin - the Kitchen has become way too serious a place.
  11. Yeah, the ticking, from my experience, was real amongst the 03/04 Cobras. Not sure of the culprit, but I don't think it was solely from tuning, since some of the 03/04 Cobras supposedly "ticked" from the factory (i.e., in stock form). (I imagine that could still be a "tuning" issue - i.e., the tune from the factory is whack - but I was interpreting your use of "tuning" in its more common usage here - i.e., an aftermarket tune.) There's also been issue with the 03/04 Cobra's and weakness in or around the pistons - in particular the #6 or #7, if I am remembering correctly. Specifically, a lot of the guys running aftermarket S/Cer's - the KB's and Whipple's - were creating too much heat for the pistons and frying them. Additionally, some guys experienced some problems with the half-shafts. Specifically, they were shattering them with hard launches. My impression is that a must for anyone intending on launching an 03/04 Cobra with any force needs to beef up the rear end - they just generate way too much torque, even box stock, for the rear to take.

Quoted because it's one of the greatest quotes ever in the history of cyberspace.
  13. No, oddly, you're not - a friend of mine is a chiropractor and happens to own two Z06's - one of which he has set-up for auto-Xing, and the other he has set-up for daily driving/street racing. LISTEN, I WILL ASK THE QUESTIONS AROUND HERE. YOU JUST SHOW UP AND I WILL BRING THE TT VETTE. JERK!!!!!!
  14. Eric, and to think, there was a time when you simply boycotted The Kitchen - now, you can seem to get your ass out of it. My apologies for the intrusion. However, by nature, I'm somewhat impulsive.
  15. Galloway is a long way from Delaware. Galloway is on the far west side of Columbus - think way out on Broad Street, out past the Outerbelt.
  16. Where's Rotarded? He's the resident sommelier. Happy birthday, in any event. If it were me, I'd drink something with whiskey in it. Off a stripper's ass.
  17. Thorne, the GTO sounds like just the right car, especially for you. As Andy's already pointed out, it's got great modification potential - all LSX's do. Also, it's quick right out of the box - so it's not like you'd need to dump a bunch of money in it from the get-go. Also, it's got that sleeper factor that seems to fit with your personality. However, the whole sleeper thing is kind of negated by the fact that it's yellow; I wouldn't have pegged you as someone who'd rock a yellow car.
  18. Yeah, it sounds like some of the guys who rolled up there deserved to get whacked. Austin, thanks for the coherent explanation.
  19. I am posting this for the car's owner, who is not a member on this site. The car is a 2003 Jetta GLS. It has 78,000 miles. It is fully loaded (e.g., leather, CD). It's an automatic. It has a clean title. The color is "platinum," which apparently means "dark grey." New brakes and tires were installed about 5K miles ago. Asking price is $12,500 OBO. The car is located in Columbus. The owner is planning to forward some pics to me in the next day or so. I will post those up when I have them. Direct inquires to this number: 614.214.4500.
  20. That is the sound of the needle skipping violently off the record.
