Why is there so much whining going on in this thread? IPS just offered their private parking lot for use that is close to a lot of potential action and everyone starts crying like little street racing babies. Anyone else notice that they kept replaying certain parts of the vid (e.g., when he initially tried to open the door, when he's standing there with his hand on the door handle and the photographers are taking pictures)? It created the illusion that it took longer to open the door than it actually did. Not that Tom Cruise isn't fucking nuts, just saying.

I don't think anacondas - or any of the contrictors - have fangs. Fangs are used to inject venom, and anacondas and similar snakes don't kill/incapacitate with venom; instead, they kill/incapacitate via constriction. So, it stands to reason that those kinds of snakes - like the one in the vid - don't have fangs. Therefore, no discrepancy, IMO.

I was the guy in the Pontiac Grand Am - it was a nice race until you decided to swerve into my lane and push us both into oncoming traffic. Fortunately, the barrier kept me from flipping over on to 71!

No lie, I have had the same concerns since about six hours into that site. Seriously, way too much paint, way too many possible straights/flushes, and way too many suck-outs happen there for it not to be rigged in some way. My thoughts, every time, eventually end up like this, "PokerStars fucking cheats - it's like they make all this action every hand to keep people interested in the game." So, same thing happens in the cash games then too?

Am I the only one who just likes going flat out fucking fast around the Outerbelt in the wee hours of the morning? Wait, no, I know there are a few other guys on here that like that too... Seriously, if I'm by myself, and there's very little traffic, I enjoy just opening the car up on the Outerbelt - it gives me lots of lanes to utilize and lots of room to stretch out the gears.

I think everyone here gets the implication of this guy's post/thread: it's somehow weak/wrong/bad to have someone else do the work on your car. And that premise is just fucking stupid. End of dumb little story. I'll be the first to admit that (1) I do very little work on my car and (2) I'd like to have the time to do more work on my car. However, #2 just isn't feasible the vast majority of the time. Further, I'll also admit that I think you appreciate the work more when you do it yourself. Again, though, there's the time factor for me: while I'd love to do a lot of stuff myself, I just don't have the time. That, and there are some things that, even if I had the time, I wouldn't want to do simply because I wouldn't have the experience/competence to do it. Like, I don't know, maybe installing a twin-turbo set-up on a Z06?

I heard the song you put on the video and immediately loved it. Use it as many times as possible in future vids, if to do nothing more than to piss that guy ^^^ off. Seriously, not much to critique or provide feedback on in the vid. Seemed like to me that the camera car was a half-car in front of everyone even before the start?

LOL - thanks, Jeff. Last night was a blast. I just got up a little bit ago. Eddie George's Grill followed by VIP @ the Dollhouse = the hotness. I have pics, BTW - even the ones were weren't "supposed" to take in the Dollhouse. Should those be posted???

Christ, that is one of the smoothest (and best) power bands I've ever seen.

Linn's will go bonkers when he sees this vid. He bought this big ass - like 8-feet wide - tube/disc inflatable thing, and we towed it around Alum Creek with Sam's boat. When there was just one of us on it, we could get it up out of the water for a second or two, but nothing like in the vid (or that other vid that shows the guy WAY up in the air and then getting tossed off like a rag doll). Anyway, that thing would beat the fuck out of you - the water was really choppy at Alum Creek, so you were always getting tossed around, and if you fell off, it was like smacking concrete when you hit the water at around 50mph. Seriously, you could easily break something hitting the water like that. It was a great time, though. Loved it.
